Saintfield Men's Hockey Club are seeking a new coach for the upcoming season.

Coach to attend training ideally twice a week and attending matches home and away for each squad
Player Coach with the ability to bring the 1stXI up from within whilst also helping out our 2nds with drills at training and match attendance where possible.

We have a bustling social aspect to the club, catering for all including families; the club has a great atmosphere for everyone!

A special mention to our coach for last season, Stephen Hayes pictured here with Club Legend Bertie Hamilton.

Stevie took on the mantle of coach at the beginning of the season and became a great manager for the 1stXI and 2ndXI. Stevie has a fantastic way about him and man management leaves nothing to be desired. He was a fantastic addition this year to the club, a great help to both captains and vice-captains in team selection and management throughout the season.

Stevie not only coached, but stepped in on many occasions when the club was in need of an umpire, and on a few occasions held the front line while someone went off injured with the bare XI!

He has suggested that with the current league structure and proposed future structures, he is no longer required at Saintfield. But we look forward to still seeing him stepping in and remaining a part of the wider club family
