This weekends team sheets are up! 🏏 Our 1st XI are at home today hosting whilst our 2nd XI are travelling down to 🏏 What a day for cricket!! ☀️

South Petherwin Ladies travelled to Helston on Sunday 6th July and were put in to bat. 🏏 Debutant Lily S scored a quick 26 before being run out, with E Barnes scoring 50 RTNO. ☀️ Batting for the first time this season having put herself up the order Joint captain Freya P was 21 NO with the score at 163-5 at the interval.

Batting Helston scored 123-7 off in their innings with be the runs being restricted by both some excellent fielding and field setting by SP’s other joint Captain L Davey. There were several run outs, one for A Kodritsch and P Clements claiming wickets.
A Mitchell was pick of the bowlers with 23-3 and was supported by Emma B 16-1 and P Clements 18-1 🏏

Helston Cricket Club ladies were very welcoming and provided a great cricket tea so a big shout out to them too. 🍰🫖🏏
