A busy weekend for firstly we had James Brennan boxing in his second skills bout in 2 weeks on the Thrive Boxing Club show after a good skills bout last week against and strong lad from Witham ABC James was looking to improve on his performance and he did just that boxing brilliant throughout the 3 rounds you should be very proud of yourself.

Next up was Archie Groves boxing on the Norwich City ABC show along side his brother Davie Groves with Archie getting the win with a 3rd round stoppage and Davie getting a unanimous points win again 2 tough boys form the home club well done boys keep up the hard work💚🥊

Today we had Drew Robertson boxing against a boy from Kingfisher ABC in Billericay in the Eastern counties final winning by a first round stoppage. Punch perfect performance 💥

On Saturday evening, we had our Roxi Brett boxing on the and sparta home show against a very tough girl called Layla Hutchinson from Wearmouth boxing club in Sunderland who had a lot more experience than our girl. Both girls are very difficult to match due to their age and weights, but this was one to remember! Roxi has not stopped training, day and night for this fight and her hard work really did pay off, winning on a split points decision. Roxi came out in the first round strong and determined to win this fight. She stayed on her front foot for all 3 rounds, moving in and out using her straight shots. She impressed us massively, As a result of her hard work, as said above, Roxi came away with the win. Both girls boxed incredibly, very friendly club and wish both girls the best of luck in the future.✅🥊

Today we was up at the Thetford Town Boxing Club show with 2 of our boxers 🥊

First up was our Troy Housman against Nile Chamberlin from Squared circle Boxing Academy. Troy came out in the first round sharp and ready, throwing some really good shots. a brilliant 2nd round and a close 3rd but unfortunately we was on the wrong end of a split decision, troy will be back stronger 👏🏼🥊

Second up was Ben Mallett against a familiar face from Theatford boxing club, what a performance this was. Ben started the bout at a very fast pace pushing his opponent onto the ropes. Ben impressed the whole crowd with his strong back hand, landing perfectly every time. After 3 quality rounds of boxing Ben was rewarded a unanimous decision AND also bout of the night. Brilliant from both boxers🥊

Overall, an amazing show, great crowd💪🏼🥊

Today we was up in Tilbury on the Smokeys Boxing Club show with 2 of our boxers boxing in their first bouts 🥊

First up we had Roxi Brett against a tough girl from Willaston Boxing Club. Roxi came out from the first bell using sharp combinations, and brilliant footwork. Her hard work was displayed through this bout, as she was listening and produced an amazing display of boxing winning on a split decision a big well done to both girls. 🩷🥊

Next up was Archie Groves, boxing against a boy from Maldon Boxing Academy. Archie came out strong, putting together some really good combinations, which impressed all of us. Unfortunately he lost on a split decision, which was a very close bout. Well done to both boys. 🩵🥊

Well done to both of our boxers today, we look forward to the future with you all… 🤫💚🥊

AND THE WINNER IS…
Punch perfect evening performed by Vinnie Kemp in his semi-finals bout against a very tough durable lad from Thetford Town Boxing Club. Both boxers wanted this win, but there could only be one. Vinnie came out sharp, warming into his opponent in the first round ensuring to land clean, sharp shots. Vinnie held his ground for the entire 3x3 rounds, landing impressive combinations and boxing very smartly. He gave his boy 2 counts in the 3rd to earn himself a well deserved unanimous decision putting him into the finals next weekend. A massive well done to both boxers, that’s what boxing is all about 🥊

On Sunday we travelled up to Oxford for Roxi Brett’s 3rd skills bout, 2nd in the space of 2 weeks !
Both clubs agreed for the girls to go full speed, and wow what a performance we saw…
Both girls boxed incredibly, and some real talent was produced ! Using high knowledge of the sport, and using some amazing combinations.
With Roxi only being 39kg, it is really difficult to match her, so if this means travelling 3+ hours for her this is what we will do to help her improve as much as she can. 💪🏼
A massive well done to both boxers, you done everyone very proud 🥊💚
