🖤 U15'S MATCH REPORT💛
The girls travelled to Siddal to test themselves against premiership opposition in their last friendly before the cup fixtures begin.
Siddal came out of the blocks flying with some great attacking play and impressive defence, keeping us pinned in our own half. Unfortunately, the girls didn't match Siddal's intensity and found themselves 26-0 down before the 20 minutes mark.
With the game gone we challenged our girls to play for their own personal pride and make a contest of it. To their credit they dug in deep and upped their work rate, upped their defence and started causing Siddal to make errors, along with causing them some problems going forward.
The remainder of the game stayed at no points scored/conceded by either team, which we will tell our girls to focus on as they showed for 40 minutes that they can compete against that level of team when they believe in themselves.
