I recently completed one of my absolute bucket list adventures - a riding holiday 🐎
The chance to horse ride every single day for hours without a care in the world… apart from trying to stay on whilst galloping across winding green forests, sandy firebreaks, blue seas and endless beaches 😂
I’m definitely not the best rider, and I still struggle with my foot and knee position in and out of the saddle… so how I stayed on all week is honestly beyond me 😅 But so many people said it was my Pilates that kept me strong enough to manage it, and I’d have to agree. Engaging my core constantly definitely helped me survive the adventure 💪🏼 thank goodness!
The whole holiday was truly 5⭐️ with . The hosts, the food, the horses, and the level of care the horses receive was absolutely impeccable.
But more importantly, a massive shoutout to the amazing ladies I spent the week with. We laughed, we cried, and we made memories I’ll never forget ❤️
As Pilates instructors and studio owners, it’s so important to take time away to relax, reset and reflect. We spend so much of our lives looking after everyone else that stepping away now and again is essential to avoid burnout and come back feeling inspired and re-energised.
I honestly had the BEST time ever and I already can’t wait to do it all again next year
