St.Helens rounders league are wanting to recruit new players.

Rounders has been a huge part of our lives for many years and it’s become a place we’re many of us have grown strong friendship groups.

Many women usually are put off by joining in team sports due to thinking they are not ‘fit enough’ or due to confidence… but PLEASE don’t let any of these hold you back!

Many women think they can’t join rounders as ‘they haven’t played since school’. None of these matter at all. We just want women to join us and have fun playing the sport we all love so much!

Rounders isn’t the olympics! You don’t need to be super fit - you just need to be willing to give your best.

You might even surprise yourself! So why don’t you come down and have a go see if you like it!

We have 5 teams and the season starts April and ends July. Games start at 7pm and children are welcome to come along as we know you can’t always have babysitters and that’s fine! It gives you an excuse to get out- get more of them steps in that we all need and get out socialising!

Our first training session is Tuesday 9th April and Tuesday 16th April 7pm at Haydock cricket club. So why don’t you come on down and have a go … pssst we also will be rusty as we haven’t hit a ball or picked up a ball since last year! So don’t worry if you can’t hit it or don’t even know the rules!
