Death is our teacher and Ally!
When I was 24 years old I got the incredible opportunity to work with Bollywood legend 'Dev Anands' son 'Sunil Anand'.
It was the end of the good old eighties and early nineties and I finished the filming at the age of 27 years old.
If you have ever watched a Bollywood film, its very much based on archetypes (Joseph Campbell). The same as you see in many Hollywood films such as Stars Wars, the fight club, lord of the rings and many more. You have the hero, the heroine, the mentor, the ally, the threshold guardian, the shape shifter, the trickster and the shadow.
We all experience death in life. It's part of our return to mother nature and our connection to the natural world, so that the body can have a new life. Death also teaches us compassion, presence and vitality. Remember the body is but a vessel, the soul lives on in consciousness. We are all energetic projections.
We only suffer because of attachment and rigid belief systems passed onto us through societal programming form governments, schooling and religion.
If this offends you or triggers you , this is your choice. No one can make you feel anything in life. It is up to us how we react and how respond.
The last regrets of the dying, are never about material things. They are about forgiveness, love for one's self, others and sorry for any wrong doings.
So if you are reading this, 'YOU ARE ALIVE'. The biggest gift we can give each other is to be in the best of health. When we are in good health, we can recognise the damage we are doing to the planet and each other and work as a community rather than in separation and segregation.
My four biggest takeaways from conversations and working with Sunil Anand, where as follows;
1. Herbicides, pesticides and rodenticides poisoning our food chain
2. The damage of electro magnetic frequency of the brain (brain tumours)
3. Lifting others up and giving chances to those who may not have the belief system or opportunity
4. Connecting to nature, as that is how we truly heal
So now you've read my blog today, are you going to repeat the same behaviour or are you going to take action?
