St Blazey Cricket Club Welcome to the page of St Blazey Cricket Club based in East Cornwall and play in the Cornwa We are a vibrant and friendly club.

We have recently gained ECB clubmark accreditation and run Saturdays sides in divisions 2,4 of the Cornwall Cricket League. We also have strong youth set up catering for boys and girls from the age of 5.

Whats on this week at St Blazey:

A busy week at the club, where we host Cornwall Over 50s on Wednesday and St Austell 2s on Thursday in Div 2 Cup action
This weekend sees the Darts team away to the Packhorse on Friday, then Saturday the 2s home to Ladock while the 1s make the trip to Tintagel
After the cricket, England Vs Panama will be shown on the big screen up the club

With all that action taking place over the week, why not come up, relax and enjoy the sunshine!☀️

A growing presence within the club, Ryan showed his class at 3, with an elegant 64 off 62 balls, most of those coming in a partnership of 93 with Toby Clarke, to set up an important 2 wicket win over local rivals Roche

Honourable mentions to Toby Clarke, Reuben Clarke, Angus Harley and Darwin Fitzpatrick for their own key individual performances, whether with bat, ball or both, they were instrumental in the 2s getting over the line

With improved weather after last week, both teams were back playing with the 1s away to St austell winning the tight game after posting only 103. They picked up crucial early wickets and thanks to our overseas spell of 5-19, managed to win by 18 runs.
The 2s faced top of the league South Petherwin and matched them throughout the game losing narrowly by 17 runs.
