Our top 10 run scorers, wicket takers and fielding performances for the 2026 season are finalised! 🏏

Our Overseas, Henro Bouwer, tops both runs scored and wickets taken! Henro made huge contributions both on and and off the pitch to make it a memerable season!

There have also been excellent contributions from many others, culminating in a good season for the club.

Today we say a tough goodbye to our 2026 overseas player, Henro Bouwer and his wonderful partner, Nicole! What an incredible impact both of them have made on us all at the club - they will always be considered part of the St Blazey family! On the pitch, Henro has been outstanding, with some memorable performances with bat and ball. We wish them both well as they return home to South Africa, but they will be missed! Hopefully, we will see them both return next year, but until then Veilige reis huis toe. 💙🇿🇦

This afternoon we are hosting a match between the clubs players, with Josh Carne captaining one side and our overseas Henro Bouwer skippering the other in the last chance to see him play before he jets back to South Africa later on this week.

With plenty behind the bar, and much better weather than last week, why not come up and enjoy our last fix of cricket for the season!

This Sunday, our annual Pub Tournament takes place up at the club, with a brilliant 8 teams ready to take the field.
With teams from The Par Inn , St Blazey Football club , Carlyon Arms (The Sandy) and The Kings Arms Lostwithiel.

Whats on this week?

A very busy last week to our season, with ladies games on Monday (a win Vs St Austell), and away to Lanhydrock on Wednesday.
Tonight sees the last session of our U11s training, after what has been an amazing season of progress for our club.
Darts are at home in the local family derby, against the Football Club.
Saturday completes our league fixtures for the season, with the 1s at home to Tintagel, while the 2s travel to Ladock.

And finally, Sunday we have our annual Pub Cricket Day, with a great day guaranteed, music, cricket and plenty of bar stock, we look forward to finishing the season with all the laughs throughout the day - everything open from 9 30!

Results for this weekend

1st XI made the trip to Wadebridge with aims of spoiling their title party, and did so, bowling with great accuracy and efficiency. After bowling them out for 82, the first XI chased this down for the loss of 4 wickets.

2nd XI played Roche, with safety all but guaranteed they were put into bat and mustered what felt like a competitive score of 165. Unfortunately, Roche batted well throughout and chased it down after just over 30 overs.

POTM -

Henro Bouwer continuing his dominance through the season, taking 4 wickets and scoring 48* to ensure the 1st XI completed the victory. With few runs needed to reach the 1000 run mark, this weekends last game could make for a superb milestone for our man!
