Summer’s here, and if you want something active that isn’t weather-dependent, squash is a solid option.

It’s quick to pick up but keeps you thinking. Short rallies, sharp movement, and plenty of stop-start effort make it great for cardio, balance and reaction time. You’ll feel it, but it doesn’t drag on.

We’ve got the only squash court in St Austell, so if you’ve ever thought about giving it a go, now’s a good time.

Play for half an hour or a full game. Bring a friend, take turns, build it into your week. It’s one of those sports that truly does a lot for your fitness.
