Back once again with our Saturday run! 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️
Great to see a such a good turn out. Saturdays were feeling unloved for a while but a healthy crew showed up today!

The weather gods smiled on us today — temperatures were down by at least 8 degrees, thank goodness! ☀️

Great to welcome some new faces, including a few who’d found us at the Backyard Ultra! 🔥🏃‍♂️

Running along the Alban Way, we could hear Group 3 were having a party! 🥳

🔥 ☀️ SCORCHIO ST ALBANS SIXER 🏃‍♂️ 🍻

Seven MRC runners took to the start line at the St Albans Sixer Backyard Ultra yesterday on the hottest day of the year! 🔥

The aim: complete as many laps of the 6.8km course as you can. The only catch: you must be back at the start within an hour to start your next lap, otherwise you’re out!

Massive respect to all the runners (and the two solidarity runners!) who ran almost 340km collectively! The shared crown goes to and Blakey who managed 10 laps each 👑

The final word goes to the cheer squad 👊 😊 you were on point! 🍻 📣

Same again next year?! 😳😅

Great turn out this evening for another crack at “Roy’s Ramble” across Batchwood Golf Course ⛳️

We’ve never seen someone look so fresh at the finish, nor coordinate their MRC t-shirt so well with their surroundings! 🏃‍♂️🍺

ICYMI in the group chat, we’ve had some big running moments from MRC members recently! 🥳

Massive well done to:
⭐ Owain - for smashing his first ever Marathon in Vienna and not even looking tired at the finish!
⭐️ Ian - for completing the Manchester Marathon with a PB.
⭐ ⭐ James and Hannah - who took on the MK Half Marathon coming home with one PB and two excellent medals! 🐄

With a big summer of running events coming up, we’ve got a feeling these big achievements won’t be the last!

Wednesday run no. 81 🏃‍♀️ 🍻

Tonight’s crew showed up (as always) and the rain wasn’t going to stop us. We dodged the showers and had fun while we were at it! But let’s be honest, the weather wasn’t exactly the hot topic today…

Wine marathons, the backyard ultra and the sweat factor of waterproofs all got plenty of airtime!

Same time, next week! You know it! 🍻 ✌️
