If you’ve tried all the wellness hacks - the supplements, creams, powders, the routines
and you still feel the same
 STOP.

Because this isn’t something you fix by doing more. You’ve been sold the idea that if you just find the right plan, the right product, the right routine
you’ll finally feel better. And yet here you are. Still tired, feeling overwhelmed and not quite yourself.

What if the answer isn’t out there
but in how you’re being supported? There is another way to do this. One that actually works in real life - not just on paper.

Becoming the Woman Within Collective is a FREE online space away from the wellness noise. Where you’re not told to fix yourself. Where you’re supported to come back to yourself. Where you’re surrounded by women who get it. And where I guide you each week with coaching that helps you feel better in a way that actually lasts.

No pressure and no more trying to keep up. Just something that finally makes sense.

If you’re ready for a different way, you’re so welcome.

Tuesday really brought this home for me. After my presentation, I expected to relax. Instead, I felt wired.
Not because anything was wrong, but because my body was still running on adrenaline. And when I looked at the bigger picture: my son doing his driving test, my other son finishing GCSEs, all the emotion and build-up of the week, it made complete sense.

This is what so many women miss. The event can be over, the conversation can be done, or the deadline can be met and your nervous system can still be acting like it needs to stay alert.

That is why nervous system regulation is not just about having a list of tools. It is about recognising the state you are actually in, so you can meet yourself more accurately.

Sometimes you need grounding, other times you need movement. Other times you just need to let the activation come down before stillness will even touch it.

If your body feels “on” long after everything is done, you need support, not more fixes. DM me CALM

I think sometimes other people see our potential before we fully step into it ourselves. This week was one of those moments for me.

It felt like a stretch. It felt intense and it also felt like everything I’ve done up until now coming together.

Despite that, the little voice of “who am I to do this?” was LOUD. Damn imposter syndrome...AND I did it anyway.

Here’s what I’m learning:

⭐ Fear isn’t a stop sign
 it’s often the green light.
⭐ Confidence didn’t come before but it met me in the moment.
⭐ Growth doesn’t always feel clear when you’re in it. Sometimes you just have to step in and let it make sense after.
⭐ Growth isn’t just about what you do, it’s about who you’re becoming.

So I’m still processing it all. Still integrating it - embodying this new version of me. Where it will take me I'm not sure AND it's exactly where I'm meant to be.

When anxiety creeps in, most of us try to push through it, ignore it, or “get on with things.” But that’s often what keeps it stuck in the body.

This week I’ve had moments of health anxiety, and I’ve come back to these 4 simple steps that always help me regulate and feel safe again:

1. Tune in and acknowledge
Instead of distracting or suppressing, I pause and recognise what I’m actually feeling.

2. Locate it in the body
Where is it showing up? Chest, stomach, throat? Emotions live in the body, not just the mind.

3. Ask: what do I need right now?
This might sound weird, but your body always has an answer. More often than not, it’s: slow down, create space, breathe.

4. Offer safety through touch and breath
I place my hands on the area I feel it most. This simple act signals safety to the nervous system. Then I breathe, stay present, and allow the emotion to move through.

An emotion only lasts around 90 seconds

But we rarely give ourselves that space. Instead, we override it and that’s what builds tension and anxiety over time.

This is your reminder:
You don’t need to fix the feeling. You just need to feel it safely and let it pass.

If you’re wanting more support with regulating your nervous system, come and join us inside my free community, Becoming the Woman Within Collective.

This month we’re focused on nervous system regulation, I’m in there every week offering coaching, guidance and tools and you’ll be surrounded by women who truly get it.

I shared the harder side of living with a stoma on Sunday.
Today I’m sharing what comes next.

The hard days still happen. I still wake up feeling fearful, overwhelmed, tired sometimes AND I don’t stay there anymore. I'm now able to notice it, name it and ask: what do I need right now?

Usually it’s not pushing through. It's about slowing down.
Coming back to my nervous system. Choosing rest and connection. Taking one small intentional action that shifts the day.

Sometimes that looks like 10 minutes sitting with a cuppa and breathing. Sometimes, like on Sunday, it’s clearing the diary and saying not today. And most often, it’s reframing the story and asking what this moment is here to teach me, what am I making it mean, and what am I going to do, or not do about it.

I am not a victim of my circumstances. I’m a woman who chooses how to respond. That doesn’t mean I don’t ask for help. I do. I’m not meant to do this alone and I'm not an island. Support from those around me is so important.

But I don’t hand away my power and wait to be saved. I know I can shift my state and move forward with more self-trust. And now I help other women do the same.

My lived experience, coaching, and 10+ years in wellness have taught me that healing isn’t about pretending everything’s fine. It’s learning how to come back to yourself when it isn’t.

If you’re done letting life dictate how you feel, comment RECLAIM and I'll send you details of how I can support you.

I don’t always talk about this side of things.

Living with a stoma saved my life, and I will always be grateful for that. My cancer was caught early, and that is something I will never stop thanking life for.

But there are parts of living with it that are harder to explain unless you live it. The constant background health anxiety is relentless...

The way it can wake you in the night.
The first-thought-in-the-morning feeling of checking in with your body.
The needing to plan more, carry more, think more.
The food worries, the hydration struggles, the energy dips, the headaches.
The skin issues.
The strange side effects that remind you, again and again, that things are different now.

Some days I handle it well and some days I really don’t. And I think that’s okay to say. Because it’s possible to be deeply grateful and still have moments where it all feels heavy. To be positive and still have less positive days. It’s possible to keep going and still feel tired of carrying it.

I think people often say they don’t know how I do it. That I look so well. That I’m so positive. And I’m grateful for their kindness, because I do try to focus on the good and on the whole this is how I feel.

But I also thought it was important to share this side too. The side where I don’t feel like that. The side where it feels heavy, tiring, frustrating, and quietly hard.

Because that’s real as well.

And for anyone reading this who is struggling with a hidden disability, or simply having a tough day, I'm sending you love. Be kind to yourself. Tomorrow is another day đŸ«¶

It’s 1st June. Half the year is gone! And at some point today, you’ve probably had that moment where you stopped and thought this isn’t where you thought you’d be. You had plans. You had intentions. You said this year would be different.

And yet
here you are with the same goals, following the same patterns, and now it's June and you're wondering why you're still stuck.

I'm going to give you a love punch now...ready?

It wasn't in the big moments but the small ones, when you hesitated, over thought and told yourself “later.” And if you're honest, it’s not that you don’t know what to do. It’s that you’re not doing it.

At some point, it has to stop being about WHAT YOU WANT and become about WHO YOU'RE BEING. The one who follows through or the one who keeps putting her life on hold.

If you’re reading this and that hit a little hard, come and have a free 30-minute clarity call with me.

We’ll look at where you are, what’s actually keeping you stuck, and what needs to shift so you stop repeating this cycle. No fluff. Just real clarity.

DM me “TODAY” or use the link in my bio to book in. Let’s actually move things forward.

Step outside and listen. Not to a podcast or music. Just
 what’s already there.

Birdsong. Wind through the trees. The quiet rhythm of life carrying on without you needing to do anything.

Your nervous system is constantly scanning your environment for cues and nature offers some of the clearest signals of safety there is. Gentle, predictable sounds. No urgency, pressure or overwhelm.

This is what allows your body to slow your heart rate, soften your breath, and come out of stress mode.

No tools needed. It costs nothing. It requires no effort. Just presence.

Try it today, even for a minute or two. Take your headphones off and see what changes.
