A HUGE thank you to everyone who came to the club yesterday!
It was a fantastic turnout, and really lovely to see so many of us together at the club.
The job list was completed in style!! So much achieved, sorted, cleaned, disposed, dispensed, spread, carried, weeded,scraped, swept, tidied, organised and decorated! By young and old!!!
All interspersed with delicious refreshments and jovial chat.
Also thank you so much to everyone who brought cakes and nibbles. A veritable feast!!
What a lovely afternoon, great teamwork, wonderful atmosphere, all proving what a special club and community we have.
Thank you and a very Happy Christmas, Feliz Navidad and Nadelik Lowen ha Bledhen Nowydh Da!!!

Congrats and thanks!
Sunday at St Agnes Tennis Club proved that Cornish tennis players will not be put off by challenging weather conditions!
Many were windswept and drenched, but played on until the sun came out, and shone on us for the whole of the rest of the day!
Lots of super tennis, close matches, local derby games and great fun were had by all. All with delicious refreshments. Many thanks to all the players who came from far and wide, Coffee Espresso for the hot and most welcome drinks, and delicious cakes, and to everyone who helped in every way.

St Agnes braved the elements at the weekend to successfully host the Open Seniors mixed tournament.
Thank you to everyone who took part from clubs all around the county.
The event was very well attended despite the inclement weather, and there was a great atmosphere with lots of super tennis.
Results were as follows:
70+ winners Stef Nahorski and Linda Randall (RU Brett Dye and Elaine Bassett)
60+ winners John Atter and Helena Luke (RU Graham Brunton and Susie Scorse)
45+ winners Dave Forrest and Julie Chappell (RU Bernard Hoskins and Caroline Blake)

National Club League Seniors competitions:
St Agnes victorious!!
Ladies 50s beat Exeter David Lloyd today 3 rubbers to 1!!
( to play either ARC or Lansdown, Cheltenham in next round)

And our Senior Mixed team beat ARC Bideford, 3 rubbers to 1!! ( to play either Leamington or Purley in next round)
