Just over 2 days to go until the last man standing competition kicks off. The teams are ready, the prize pool is building and is guaranteed to be at least £50 for the winner but could be much bigger with enough players. Just a bit of fun to guarantee the survival of a great football club.

Fancy yourself as a football pundit? Are you on the ball like Lineker or as confused as Kamara?

Put your skills to the test, support your local team and give yourself a chance at winning a great cash prize while you do. It's the Ickleton FC, Last Man Standing challenge.

Join in every week as you pick a team to WIN. If they do that, then you progress to the next week if they LOSE or DRAW then you are out! Simple as that... well nearly, here's a few rules:

You cannot pick the same team twice until you have exhausted all 20 teams in the league so think tactical!!

You must make your selection by 9pm each Friday preceding the game week in play. If you don't make a choice then you will be automatically assigned the side closest to the bottom of the premier league that you have not yet used. Once the deadline has passed, no changes to your selection are permitted.

Due to the current situation and the COVID-19 pandemic, should any match be called off or postponed short notice then it will be removed from the match pool for that week and any players who have picked those side will receive a 'bye' into the next week's round. Should there be prior knowledge and the game called off before the selection deadline then it will be removed from the match pool and players will be given the option to reselect a side. A short extension may be granted to the deadline depending on when the match is called off, but should any deadline not be met then automatic team assignment as above will apply.

The prize can only be won by a single player and cannot be shared. Should all remaining players be eliminated at the same time then a rollover shall occur and those players shall receive a 'bye' into the next game week.

There is no limit to the amount of times you may enter.

£10 per entry, which will be split 70% to Ickleton FC and 30% to the prize fund.

Entry is not limited to players or associates of Ickleton FC, family, friends, friends of friends, aunts, uncles, second cousins twice removed are all welcome, the more players, the bigger the potential prize pot. So get sharing and send to everyone you know.

We will try again later in the year, sorry to everyone who planned to join us. We will, instead, have a celebration of our freedom being returned to us once the Coronavirus epidemic is over.

Welcome to Ickleton Football Club, the official Sunday-League Social team of Ickleton, located in South Cambridgeshire.
We play Division 1, the "Premier League" of the Cambridge & District Sunday League, having secured promotion from Division 2 last year.

We have a huge mix of players from under-18's, Saturday league players from Duxford, Saffron Walden and beyond and the odd retired ex-pro playing for us each week!

It's going pretty well so far this season and we are in the top-half of the table, however we're always happy to see new faces and welcome new players.
So pop on down to the Ickleton Recreation Ground, where we play our home games on a Sunday morning @ around 10:30 and say hi, we'd love to see you. Come down enough times and we might even give you an amusing nickname!
