Bank holiday weekend coming up next week, our last posting day will be on Wednesday 1st April, then all orders after this will be sent out on Tuesday 7th April. Make sure you get your particle order in before Monday afternoon, that’ll give us enough time to get them out on Wednesday afternoon.

We got lots of requests for a simple Plum hookbait and here it is! We opted to use John Bakers Plum flavour which we regard as one of the best, included at optimum levels and finished with a mix of our favourite fruit palatants, intense sweeteners and high quality h**p oil.

As with all of our hookbaits, they are designed to keep rigs working and hooks suspended whilst they are underwater. The following guide will help you pick the right size hookbait for your hook size.

16mm hookbaits are also perfect for fishing on chod rigs, with heavy leadcore leaders. They are buoyant enough to negate the weight of both the hooklink and the leader, so when you are fishing over w**d, you can critically balance your entire set-up for the perfect presentation.

Prepared Particle Information

If you haven’t ordered from us before, here is a little bit of information to get your order as quickly as possible from us to you. The best time to order your prepared particle is on a Friday. We then soak this over the weekend and boil up on a Sunday/Monday. This will then go straight out with the courier on Monday/Tuesday for Tuesday/Wednesday delivery.

If you can’t or don’t want to order on a Friday that is absolutely fine and we can still cater for your needs, usual turnaround is 2/3 days depending on busyness, but we do always cook extra, so if you’re in a hurry or running late, just drop us a message and see if we’ve got anything ready for immediate dispatch.

1kg Bags

These are sent straight from the freezer. We carry lots of them in stock and they are ready for immediate dispatch.

2.5kg+ Bags

Weights above this are all cooked fresh to order and packed in sealed vacuum bags. An un-opened bag will be good for five days from the day you receive your delivery.

Storage

This is a fresh product and must be stored in a freezer for long term storage. If you are happy and confident in fermenting your own particle, then by all means do this in sealed buckets at your own leisure.

Delivery

We use a 24 hour courier service to send all our products with tracking included. We are having high volumes of orders, so if there is any problems with a delivery, please message us as soon as there is a problem so that we can get it resolved. The quicker a problem with prepared particle is resolved, the less chance there is of the product spoiling in-transit.

We are now able to supply 12mm Corkballs in small and large quantities, in 12mm size to begin with.

We have two types available.

Pore filled; These cut for a single piece of cork, then any imperfections are filled and sanded to achieve a smooth, even finish.

A single 12mm pore filled corkball, rolled on a 16mm table, with a 4mm of outer paste, will have enough buoyancy to float a size 4 hook, mounted on a chod with a metal ring swivel on the D.

Not Pore Filled; The rolls Royce of corkballs, cut from a single piece of cork, perfectly, without the need for filling in the imperfections.

This is a more expensive option, but carries a superior quality and is more buoyant than the pore filled option.
