Rye v Old Colf’s.
Rye 17 Old Colf’s 24

I and both teams spectators were witness to a great competition between two equally match and talented teams.
Physically one on the best grassroots game I’ve watched recently.

Rye men took the game straight to Old Colf’s
Fierce tackles and line defence.
Basics was key.
Individual breaks and brilliance.
I’m sure the men are still feeling the game.

We are at home this weekend against
kings College Hospital

As the year goes by.
It gets colder and wetter.
We still turn out

We have a ladies only training, and Theo’s mixed touch.
Both start 7pm
It’s great fun and great fitness.

My apologies for little or no posts.
That crazy thing called work and life gets in the way
That said.

Today we played our first round of the Sussex Cup
Against a very strong young mobile, well drilled Hayward heath.
To their credit they traveled with 17, and was gracious in allowing us to have 20. I only used 3 subs.

Being beaten by a very strong young mobile Bromley squad.
The men performed very well, missing out on some easy points.
