Announcement 📣

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel our tournament at Barry in Cardiff in June.

We have relocated and are pleased to announce we will be holding a tournament for the first time at Golf Tycroes (Ammanford South Wales) on Saturday June 20th.
We hope to see you there ⛳️ ⚽️

Long post so bear with!

We are fast approaching our 10 year anniversary at Swansea Footgolf so to celebrate this milestone it is our intention to revisit the Swansea Open match play event won by the legendary Richard "Griff" Griffiths VII in 2020.
The format will be similar depending on entries and will hopefully run from June until completion in late summer.
As there is a significant difference in levels at the top we will hold an event prior to the tournament starting to determine a golf style handicap which will allow less experienced players to compete with the stars of the game. We will finalise the exact rules in the next few weeks.
The cost of entry will be the same £10 as 2020 and all matches played will be free for both competitors. The money raised will be used for a trophy and the remainder will be given as prize money to the winner and runner up.
In the meantime we need to gauge interest in the event and ask all interested players to message us to be included.
Any local companies wishing to sponsor the tournament and receive full naming rights then please get in touch.
We will hopefully get a big name to do a live draw as we did back in 2020 (Mr Trundle?)
With the permission of the Griffiths family we would like to name the event after Griff and call it the "Richard Griffiths Swansea Open" in his memory.

Striking whilst the iron is hot!

Although we have a full tour calendar still to play! It’s important to remind everyone that the Welsh Open this year promises to be the biggest one yet.

4 Rounds of exceptionally competitive Footgolf, Friday to Sunday!
We also have a Pro Category this year which is a great addition.

We will be providing Accommodation packages and food packages also.
