European summit trial Thursday open to new athletes

European Summit Trials – Level 1 (U 16)
Our European Summit team is aimed at athletes who are confident in their Level 1 skills and are ready to train and compete at a higher standard.

We want everyone to have the best possible experience, so we'd like to give you an idea of what we're looking for before you attend.

Minimum Requirements
Athletes should be able to demonstrate:
• Strong body positions and technique across all choreography and dance.
• Elite level 1 stunting skills.
• Ideally capable of taking on multiple roles within a stunt group. (flyer, base, back)
• Good jumps, height and flexibility.
• Overall fitness and good stamina.
• A positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to work hard as part of a team.
Recommended Tumble (Not Compulsory)
To be competitive for selection, we recommend athletes are working towards or can confidently perform:
• Strong Round-off and polished controlled Cartwheels.
• Front walkover or back walkover. (straight legs)
• Switch leg backwalkovers. (straight legs)
• Capability to connect elite level 1 skills in a pass.
Please don't worry if you don't have every recommended skill yet. We look at overall potential, technique, attitude, commitment, and how athletes perform throughout the trial.
Our goal is to select athletes who will enjoy the experience, continue to develop, and feel confident competing at the European Summit. If we feel an athlete would benefit from more time before taking on this challenge, we'll always offer guidance on what to work towards for future opportunities.
We can't wait to see everyone at trials.

2026/27 season is weeks away so let’s get prepared. The week after our last competition we will be running assessment classes for current and new athletes. 💙

So this happened tonight, Bombshells our U16 athletes have won a bid to attend European Summit in Portugal in 2027, well done to the athletes and coaches.
We’ve had a great weekend at BCA and this literally was the cherry on top 💙💙💙
