I have created this page to help promote fitness, training, healthy eating and nutrition to everyone and my company LAHPT Fitness & Nutrition (LA Howlett Personal Training). My name is Adam Howlett I am British Personal Trainer from the UK. I started my fitness career back in June 2004 at La Fitness UK and I have over 16 years’ experience working in the fitness industry and Personal Training worki

ng and helping my clients transform their bodies and deliver great results working and running my own self-employed Personal Training business in the UK 4 years in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Low Angeles, California before moving back home to the UK end of 2016

Since moving home οΏ½ I got my business back up and running @ Pure Gym, Bedford- Studio 281, Kempston and now currently Corpus Conditioning, Rushden around my flying hours full time with Easyjet as Cabin Crew. I have a passion for fitness,nutrition,cooking good healthy tasty food and teaching classes. I’m qualified in quite a few but my favourite classes to teach are HIIT,Spinning and Metafit

I love training people and making a difference to people’s lives by making sure they reach their goals and achieve success and loves the satisfaction of seeing my clients happy, achieving the results they have never had and having a big impact on their lives. I am always motivated, dedicated and committed 100% no matter what. Another Day in the sun and and fasted Cardio to kick start the day πŸš΄πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸŒž

12KM Cycle up and down the Nerja Beach Coastline ⛱️ 😎

When I go on holiday I love to get out in the sun & exercise,see some awesome scenery, explore in the fresh air, burn lots of calories

and

get them happy positive energy endorphins going- productive start to the day, whilst getting a tan & loads of vitamin D

An hour training is only 4% out of my day

Yes im on holiday but I like to stay as active as I can and keep moving & stepping

so then i get to eat loads of awesome food, alcohol & enjoy myself knowing that my input to output of cals is still there

Earning and Burning πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ»πŸ”₯ βš–οΈ

& not feel guilty about having lots of nice paella,tapas,sangria,ice cream and beers this week

and keep my energy levels up and so I don't get lethargic from the drinking & lots of carbs I'm consuming this week

And then

Our standard favourite breakfast no matter where in the world we are

Around 300 cals

40g Oats, 1 x scoop of PHD Diet Protein Whey Chocolate & Salted Caramel,blueberries, strawberries - cinnamon washed down with a strong black americano coffee

Most people put weight on from there holiday- they move less and eat and drink more whilst relaxing -its not rocket science- yes you will put body fat & weight on

We have lots of holidays coming up this year to Holland Lumi,Croatia,Ibiza,Spain & Mexico

so I don't want to undo weeks of hard work training and discipline of my nutrition/diet the last few weeks and been down in a calorie deficit and to go backwards

I want the best of both - to enjoy my holiday & lifes treats but also still keep lean my abs and keep my fitness levels up and stay consistent- been healthy is a lifestyle not a short term quick fix

There is always good method in my madness & why I stay in good shape all year round & never let things slip or let the routine drift away with different changes of environment

10KM Sunrise Run/Powerwalk down the Costa Brava coast to the beach and Nerja centre before breakfast

I havent done much running lately as my training has been different with different goals and priorities the last few months, so the aim was to run for as much as i could/ power walk especially with the hill climbs &keep moving for at least 60 mins and get some good calorie burn.

When I come to spain every year to on holiday I love to get out in the sun & run,see some awesome scenery, fresh air, burn lots of calories and get them happy positive energy endorphins going and productive start to the day, whilst getting a tan and loads of vitamin D

8.4K Sunset Run down the Costa Blanca Moraira coast to the beach, port,town before going out for dinner

When I come to spain every year to Moraira on holiday I love to get out in the sun & run,see some awesome scenery, fresh air, burn lots of calories and get them happy positive energy endorphins going and productive start to the day, whilst getting a tan and loads of vitamin D

I have done this every year since I was 15 yrs old coming here.

Flying High Fitness Friyay

Trotting on into the weekend with the power of Trance πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

I couldn’t teach my Corpus Spin Class πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ last night due to flying/working in the clouds last night so I had to get a good intense cardio session in this morning to make up for it πŸ”₯

and get my 4th training session of the week in and get my energised kick start the day and feeling good

before my work standby ✈️ started and day of revision for my annual recurrent exams πŸ€“

I haven’t done much running since the gyms reopened in April so it was good to blast out a run in the fresh air and see where my fitness is at the moment and what my HIIT spin classes have done - not my fastest but not far off

The aim was to do at least a 5K run and get some good calorie burn in before breakfast in 45 mins - not bad as I have hardly done any running the last 6 months

Using this banging set from I got into it πŸ’ͺ

but even more that got me buzzing and the runners high about events back and

thinking tomorrow is back at Fabric and we are going to London tomorrow and Rong next weekend in Manchester

and not long to go until returns

this made me more excited 🀩 and helped push me quicker

thinking the months in lockdown all i could do is run and exercise because that’s all you could do when you were stuck at home and everything closed

and all the fun and good things in our lives were taken away

I can’t wait to be day time raving back in Fabric tomorrow with loads of the Trance Family Brothers and Sisters in Lannnndannn and be reunited loads of old faces we haven’t seen since before lockdown

and on holiday and how life should be πŸ˜ŠπŸ™

It’s crazy to think back in January this year and most of last year - we couldn’t of done anything like this or even come close

Except be stuck at home in your living room or kitchen in the cold dark winter - not able to work - go to the gym or go out and only allowed out to go to the supermarket

Never take things for granted and how lucky we are

Appreciate the basic simple things that we now can have back every single day

Feel Good Fitness Friday β˜€οΈπŸ’ͺ😈

This mornings 4KM Sunrise Run down the Costa Blanca Moraira coast to the beach, port and town

27min Upper & Core bodyweight session on the bars and outside gym area

Then 5.5K Jog/uphill Powerwalk back up the coast and hills up the Villa

Awesome session and winning start to the day and keeping the fire burning and blasting away last nights beers, sangria dessert

1356 πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ cals = in the bank for our last day today for cocktails 🍹 Prosecco πŸ₯‚ pizza πŸ• and BBQ later on πŸ˜‹

This was my 4th long run done this week and x6 training session since we arrived βœ…

And finished off an EPIC week of different training πŸ˜ƒπŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΈπŸ˜Šβ˜€οΈπŸ”‘πŸ‘

I was only going to do a small session today on the TRX and Powerwalk before breakfast as my legs are battered and heavy from the overload of running which I’m not used to

but then I didn’t want to waste the last chance to run last time down to the beach today

and to try out the outside the gym which I discovered the other day - I could of drove there but then I don’t the Ezy or lazier option - so instead let’s do what I do best and up the game

Go Hard 😈 and then Go Home Tomorrow 🏑🌭🐢

Rest day tomorrow then again Sunday as I’m back flying the skies to Malta early Sunday morningβœˆοΈπŸ‡²πŸ‡Ή

I’m def going to miss this next week

This is one of the best bits about having a chilled holiday you can’t beat

13KM morning Sunrise Run down the Costa Blanca Moraira coast to the beach, port,town and to the end of Portet beach before breakfast and chilling by the Villa pool for the rest of the day.

Awesome and winning start to the day and keeping the fire burning 1257 πŸ”₯cals

No teaching Spin for me tonight but no excuses - I had to smash out a standard high calorie Thursday session just like I do when I’m at home

Standard Monday Making It Happen πŸ”‘

Even when on holiday- kick starting the week with a Sunrise TRX Giant Sets Workout this morning

I woke up feeling a bit groggy & lethargic from yesterday's carbs, prosecco & beer

So a quick sharp high volume Whole body TRX Bodyweight & Abs blast to kick start the day, Trance pumping to wake me up and get them sunny energetic/buzzing endorphins going and help get ride of any lethargic ness and get my metabolism on fire for the day

and so then Its done and I can chill in the sun for the rest of the day by the villa pool and enjoy a few gins/beers.

Yes I’m on holiday but I have 24 hours in a day to relax, sleep and chill

1 hour out of my day is nothing and small part of it - I always try to keep my steps up and as active as possible.

So I don’t and not turn into a lazy slow Sloth or Sleep all day Koala bear 🐨

Exercise and training is part of a long term healthy lifestyle all year long - year after year and what my body had been trained and used to doing since I was 16 years old.

Plus as I get older 18 x 2 years old - you have to keep it up even more and stay consistent and not let the routine slip - to keep the body fat and fluffiness away and prevent weight gain

Due to your metabolism losing 5% muscle mass (BMR resting calories drops) from 30 years olds and same every 10 years onwards from 30 - which naturally happens to all of hence why you can’t eat/ drink what you did when you where in your late teen or twenties

Don’t let your age - let it slow it’s your metabolism down - train to maintain your muscle mass and prevent this anti aging process happen

Plus training HIIT style promotes more natural HGH human growth hormone which makes you keep younger - as it’s anti ageing - strips body fat and can keep/maintain to put lean muscle on

Hence why Mr Traps doesn’t look 36 even with all the partying and raving I do 😎

Then 20 min Jog/ Uphill powerwalk seeing some awesome views

Then a good standard cold healthy salted caramel protein and oats with blueberries and strawberries for breakfast

with added wholegrain rye bread toasted with Wholenut peanut butter- hazzlenut spread & low fat cream cheese - mix of sweet and savoury & strong black americano coffee to start the day in the Costa Del Blanca

It’s been along time coming the last time we partied in the UK at the start of Feb 2020 Liberation Fabric and tomorrow Trance returns to the UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ with various parties going on in Birmingham and London

It’s time for normality and our old lives to come back to the fullest and get taken away - music and trance is one thing that has kept me sane and kept me smiling through the crazy covid times we have all had

Yesterdays Super Sweaty Santorini Sunday Smashing Goals and Flying across the world ✈️

And winning start to the month

Sunday - which is normally a rest day for me - but flying all day Saturday I had to swop my days round and make it a priority to fit into my schedule

So as the gym opens smashing out an awesome training Chest Back Traps & HIIT Running session before breakfast and 1110 cals session burned πŸ”₯

Getting the energy and buzzing good energetic endorphins going and metabolism on fire before a long day up into the clouds to Santorini and back and getting back at home at 2.30am

New Month.New Goals.New Training Program.No Excuses.

Making It Happen and Getting It Done βœ…

No God Dams Fricken Excuses 😑

So I stay fighting fit and healthy and in good shape for more up and coming holidays πŸ–
