Over the last 30 years of practicing and teaching yoga, people often say to me "don't you need to be flexible to do yoga?
well my answer to that is no.
Gaining flexibility, easing tension, stiffness and helping with joint pain and back pain is the whole point of yoga in its physical form.
Alongside this there are many other benefits.
As the body relaxes and unwinds we begin to release mentally and emotionally and feel a deeper connection and peace within.
Alongside the physical there are many methods within their own right which help to work gently on healing mental emotional stresses and traumas.
Yoga is an ancient life science to help you just keep on top and feel better. Try it.
