*Ace PSV - Chasetown Falcons* Draw

Started very slow and conceded 2 goals early. Made a couple of changes and things started to come together. They battled through and got one back before half time with some superb vision and passing! Left it late but Shaq fired one past the keeper with seconds to go! Proud of how they came back from this one as Chasetown were the better team and could have got a few more but wonderful saves from Ethan kept us in the game 🙌🏻

*Ace PSV - Shelfield Utd* Draw

Again started slow and went 1 down early in! We picked things up much quicker in this game and were denied multiple opportunities! Came out fast in the 2nd half and got one back! Could have finished with us scoring a few but just couldn’t find the back of the net! Ethan made some impressive saves and the whole team played phenomenal.

8th September 2024.
Great start to the season happy with the kids performance today tough first game but overall we are very happy with how thebkids play.

ACe PSV - Morton Tigers (lost)

Tough game to start the season but played really well in the first 10 minutes and kept the score line to 0-0. Some of the best football we’ve played actually and nearly went 1-0 up. Made some changes and lost our rhythm just as they found there’s. Unfortunately goals came in pretty fast after that.
The positive here was just how well we played at the start and shows we are starting to be able to l compete at that level 👌🏼

Ace PSV - Lane Head Bandits (Draw)

Had to lift the kids back up for this after the first game which they did, playing some lovely football and going 2-0 up in the first half. Made some changes again and things didn’t quite click again giving Lane head chances to get one back followed by a real late one getting the draw!

Overall happy first game performance from PSV! Onwards and upwards ⚽️

Zac and Sienna our players of the day. Zac has been working hard this week in he's position driving the ball forward and had a great goal well deserved. Sienna one of our new players today was really composed, she won her tackles and made some great passes and finding the gaps. Well done 👏 💪

Great game today form everyone in the team. Everything we worked hard on showed today and isbpaying off. The goals from Cauis, Layton and Zac was really good.

*Ace PSV - Hampstead Diamonds* (won)

Second week of friendlies and we came out the blocks first in this match and played the best football we’ve played so far! Was great to watch them pass it round and win almost every challenge! Even managed to swap defenders to strikers! Kids loved it!

_Then we had the dreaded hour break…_

*Ace PSV - Beechdale Juniors* (lost)

We were last out the blocks in this match and they went 1 up early. Our kids heads dropped and struggled to lift them back up. Wasn’t helped by a bit of rough play from them either. Just couldn’t get our previous match form back. We move forward!

Ace PSV 2 - 1 Coven United

What a result! Lost to Coven only a couple of weeks ago 4 -2 so a great turnaround! PSV really turned up and bossed Coven around for the entire match! We’ve played some really good football over the past few weeks so finally got a result we deserved! Well done PSV!

Ace PSV 1 - 3 Walsall Phoenix Raiders

We came out and kept the same level of football throughout the first half and went 1 nil up! The teams effort was superb! Not sure what happened in the second half, but think it was a mixture of running out of steam and then turning up the pressure but they outplayed us in the second half, giving them the win!
