Open sessions still running for girls wanting to play in 2026/27. We offer all levels from complete beginner through local and regional leagues to national league. Come along, learn some skills, make friends and have a bunch of fun. All welcome, first few sessions totally free of charge.
We're also at Sandymoor tonight for our u10 and u12 session (current school years 3-7) and again on Thursday for u10-u12s (yr 3-7) 6pm-7pm, u14-u18s (yr 8-13) 7pm-9pm

Exciting times. We've just done our league entries for next year and unbelievably we've entered 5 teams (u12 regional, u14 national, 2x u16 national and u18 national). Incredible to believe we started our girls section only 4 years ago with just 3 girls stranded at u12 level. It's been some journey and we've developed players, officials, coaches and team managers in that time all coming together for the benefit of our girls.

We have opportunities for girls at all 4 age groups - u12 (current school year 5-6), u14 (current year 7-8), u16 (current year 9-10), u18 (current year 11-12) for 2026-27. We also have spaces in our u10 training and local league offering so welcome any girls from school year 3 and upwards.
Feel free to attend our open sessions, whatever your experience - we cater for players from total beginners to experienced internationals.

Following nominations from both her club coaches and Basketball Wales international coaches, Izzy has been invited to attend the GB Exposure Camp at the end of the month, which forms part of the selection process for this summer’s FIBA Youth EuroBasket activity in Greece.

A founder member of the ACES programme and captain of our U16 Girls, Izzy has shown tremendous hard work and dedication throughout her journey with the club.

We’re incredibly proud of everything Izzy continues to achieve and excited to see her take another step forward on her journey.

Is your daughter in year 6 and moving to a new school in September? Come along, meet new friends and have some fun. Next session this coming Tuesday - we also run a girls after school basketball club at Sandymoor (maybe others coming soon...), an all girls club for local leagues, regional league and the Basketball England National League.

We are opening our sessions to new players ready to develop, compete, and be part of a strong team environment, whether you are new to the game or already playing. Come in, get involved, and experience what Padgate Aces is about.

Today we had a great day at our local league session (WhosGotNext). Whilst all the girls had a great time playing with girls from 3 different regional / national league clubs playing competitively together in u13 and u15 categories we also helped 4 referees early in their journeys and gave 6 young people the opportunity to try being table officials for the other games (and some of them on the microphones commentating too!). A great development opportunity for the young people from Padgate and Cheshire Roar

Moment of reflection tonight that we’ve come a long way. 38 girls at our sessions tonight with 9 coaches in total including 4 female junior coaches we are supporting. Our local leagues with girls from lots of local clubs is starting to gather interest and becoming busier. 2026-27 looks bright!
