As a club we are incredibly proud, 3 boats set out on Easter weekend each with 3 separate challenges.

But the aim from all of them was to finish and leave nothing in the tank as the took on the

Tim and Miles finishing in 32 hours. Amazing effort by you guys and your support crew.

Dave and Radek, the time and effort, encouraging all at the club has been incredible, well done to you and your support crew.

And finally Jon and Billy. They have had a crack at this a few times, so hopefully they can now appreciate what they have achieved winning this event!! From start to finish they showed control and power, great work guys and great result.

A few pictures from all three of our crews racing at Waterside D this weekend. Some fantastic racing, with everyone pushing their comfort zones—amazing to see! And top results across the board.

Rad and Dave wrapped up the series with a solid effort, finishing in a well-deserved second place in the veteran class.

James and Eric a blossoming new K2 partnership, and what a way to test it—taking on 34 miles, which was Eric’s longest paddle ever! Huge shoutout to both of you, and a special thanks to your support crew—Rose, you played a massive role in their success! 🤣 Well done!

Simon Derham and his K2 partner Steve Graham also made it out for waterside C, a great rundown and great to see him racing again after the winter !

Billy and Jon O had a bit of a challenge, with a snapped rudder wire and a 2.5 km run to track down support for repairs. But they pushed through and ended up with the series win, along with a new Series Record!

A big shoutout to Al Pipe as well, who’s been racing and supporting in these events. His influence and dedication have been key to many of the successes on the water. Thanks, Al!

To wrap it all up—just as Al said after the racing—we really do punch above our weight for a club of our size! Congratulations to everyone involved!
