WIN 34-27 💪

What a stormer tonight! We took the first quarter to warm up but found our rhythm by the second, and then there was no stopping us 🙌🏼 A fab match and everyone worked their socks off!

🏅 POTM - Nic (GA) Her shots and movement were absolutely BRILLIANT and even Jayne complimented her afterwards - high praise indeed! 🤣 Really well deserved Nic!

🏅CPOTM - The Whole Team 💪 Honestly too difficult to choose tonight because everyone had a cracker of a game!

Leah (WA) - Speedy Gonalez on steroids ⚡️she was just superb with those feeds in and being everywhere she was needed!

Shorty (GS) - beautiful movement in the D, drawing tough defenders out and sinking some cracking goals! 🏐

Amy (WD) - always available, fabulous passes and deserves extra recognition for playing two full matches back to back! 😅Thank you so much for helping us out tonight Amy!

Jayne (GD) - Ability to switch from her signature long bombs to diddy little passes even though it goes against her religion 🤣 Such a brilliant match for our resident coach and we loved her direction and laughs on court 🫡

Maxine (GK) - wonderful to be back playing with our Max tonight, and she had a corker of a game with those long leans and jumps 👌🏼

Drawing all the way though the game until the end! We are all battered and bruised after a physical game. Next time ladies !!!

No player of the match or photo as talks with the umpire (Clarifying a rule) and badminton players 🏸 were rushing us off court. Oops 🙊

🏐 Woodpeckers Match Report 🏐

Jaguars 32 – 16 Runcorn Woodpeckers

A tough one for the Woodpeckers tonight against a strong Jaguars side, but plenty to take away from it! 💚

We stayed in the fight throughout and kept working hard right to the final whistle. The scoreline might not have gone our way, but there were some good passages of play and plenty to build on as we keep finding our rhythm.

Another cracking performance from Erin, putting in a huge shift and thoroughly deserving Player! 👏

💪 Captain’s Player – Kay
A brilliant game at WD, working tirelessly through the court, applying pressure and making life difficult for the opposition. Great work, Kay! 👏

Magpies 20–31 Bandits

A real game of two halves for the Magpies tonight.

A tough, disjointed first quarter saw us struggle to settle, putting just one goal on the board. Quarter two showed improvement as the team began to connect and move the ball with more confidence.

But the second half? A completely different Magpies.
Controlled, composed, and competitive. We matched Bandits goal for goal, drawing both quarters and showing exactly what this squad can do when they find their rhythm.

Player of the Game — Laura

Super shots, smart positioning, brilliant support play. A standout performance.

Captain’s Players of the Game

Lyndsey - battling a cold but still gave everything. Strong centre passes and great feeds into the D. A real team player.

Nicola - only her second time at GK and absolutely smashed it. Intercepts and rebounds everywhere.

Ch*****ne Moment

A huge leaping intercept from Amy, finished off with a calm, well‑worked team goal.

Louise has done amazing tonight getting in some fantastic interceptions. She worked to get the ball back off the opponent team. Marking the ball when needed and adding pressure to other players 💪

🏐Super Shot Kylie 🏐Kylie hardly ever misses a shot she pops them in with ease, she runs around like a nutter but today she really slowed her pace as well as running like flash.

🍾Ch*****ne moment
Well ladies that game was awesome a lot of us have just came back from injury and you were amazing, I told Cygnets I wanted to win tonight and my did they complete the task.
We had Sally back from injury as WD and did she have some fire in her. We had Sophia back as GS and we have missed her super shots.
We had Sarah Lou as C who smashed it even when she doesn’t play C she was amazing. She was Excellent at slowing our players down, really took control
We had Natasha who has only played a few times for cygnets but what a angry sn**ch she has and she won the ball, Get in Natasha x
Holly has played only a few times with cygnets but she was putting pressure on the players and beginning to gel with the team beautifully.
We also had the lovely Milly on the sideline helping with cheering us all on, keeping us focussed on the game.
Then there is me who organises everyone else but not herself and forgets her phone 😂 and spends the night running around to get it back.
A big well done ladies can’t wait for another game.

Ravens win 🥳 42 - 16

Lovely game against Ivies, Ravens started with 6 due to Duffy been otherwise engaged, and you if you where there you’d know why 💩
But we soon found our flow and before long we were back to 7 and doing our thing 🙌🏻

Player of the match- Carli 👸
Looks like the training camp in Spain 🇪🇸 did her good, still filled with holiday weight and probably the remaining sangria, however after that match it’s all sweated out now 🥳

CPOTM - Kate 👸🏼
Stepped in last minute as Julie was benched injured, and she had a blinder, tips and intercepts galore and always available for a pass, fabulous game 🥳

🍹Carlsberg moment 🍹
Starting with 6 on true Ravens style, niggles and injuries and us all realising we are getting old. Jayne constantly shouting “Marie, Marie!!” Ignite her Marie. Laura was patching us up during the breaks and she does a fabulous job of it.

Captains Maxine's words....
It was neck and neck with both teams playing brilliantly. The pace was fast, the pressure was high and it was definitely a sweaty one! 😂💦

There were some amazing interceptions, fantastic teamwork and cracking goals from both sides. Neither team was willing to give an inch, well done ladies 👏

POTM... Anna 💪🏅...
Anna Played GD and was on fire🔥.. fantastic interceptions marking her opponent tight, making herself available for every C pass - very well deserved 💪🙌🏅

CPOTM🏅The whole team... The Emus worked hard from the start till that final whistle.. kept battling and played some amazing netball.
Very well played ladies the score definitely didn't reflect the game 👏👏

Absolutely smashed that centre position today Lyndsey, you were everywhere, always there when needed and plenty of disruption and intercepts…Well deserved 🌟

CPOTM - Katie
Poor Katie was hanging out of her a*se today but somehow pulled a cracking game off! Intercepts galore! You were always on that line when needed, and vocal today as well. Well deserved 👏🏼 💓

We were missing a few core players today but We kept our heads and battled until the final whistle. It wasn’t our day on the scoreboard but loads of positive moments and plenty to take away from the game we kept fighting, supporting each other and no one gave up.

Onto the next flamingos, we go again!! 💓💪🏼 🦩
