Brereton Social capped off a fantastic season by securing promotion with an emphatic 3-0 victory in a memorable performance.

With the stakes high, Brereton Social showed exactly why they deserved promotion, dominating large periods of the game and producing a composed, disciplined performance from first whistle to last.

Beech was the hero in front of goal, scoring twice in the early minutes to put Brereton Social firmly in command. Ansell added the third goal to round off an outstanding display and ensure promotion was secured in style.

The entire squad played their part on a day that will live long in the memory, showing the commitment, quality and togetherness that have been the hallmarks of their successful campaign.

Man of the Match was Fin Ostle, whose outstanding all-round performance set the standard and played a major role in the team's victory.

Credit must also go to manager Russell Simpson, assistant manager Jonny Russell and coach Adam Ford, whose leadership, preparation and ability to select the right team throughout the season have been key factors behind Brereton Social's promotion-winning success.

Special recognition should also be given to long-time supporters Ashleigh Sanders, Julian Money and Steve Bird, whose unwavering support, commitment and passion for the club have been a constant source of encouragement throughout the years. Their dedication to Brereton Social embodies the spirit of the club, and it was fitting that they were there to witness such a historic and successful day.

At the final whistle, celebrations erupted as promotion was officially confirmed. It was a fitting reward for a season of hard work and dedication from players, staff and supporters alike.

A 3-0 victory, promotion secured, and a deserved achievement for everyone connected with Brereton Social.

Our long, hard season comes to a close this Sunday as we host Satchmos.
Avoid defeat and we guarantee runners up. A win with results going our way elsewhere will see us clinch the title. Lose and Satchmos leap frog us into second place.
Come down and support the lads and get them over the line.

We're not giving the title up without a fight as we take it all the way to the final day with an emphatic display.

The game started with us on top and continued in the same fashion. Eight minutes in Clark whipped in a peach of a ball and Ansell headed home top corner. Second soon followed when Ostle played Ansell through who then chipped the keeper. Third goal came as Beech nodded in a cross from Smith. Emery then added a 4th straight from a corner. 4-0 HT

The second half started the same as the first with social putting all the pressure on. We had to wait for the 5th goal but it soon came with Elcock running down the wing to pull it back for Emery to grab his second. Beardshaw added another when he pressed their defence to win the ball and slotted it into the bottom corner. We rounded things up with Emery completing his hat trick, scoring straight from a corner for the second time. We did concede a penalty in the last minute of the game, however stand in keeper Money came up with the save to keep our clean sheet.

Sundays game saw the Social drop two points despite being three goals up in the first half hour of the game.

Social came out the blocks winning every second ball and creating chance after chance. It wasn't long before Williamson delivered a free kick from half way and put it on a plate for Beech to head home.
Ansell soon got in on the act when Beech got there first to a drop down in the box to play it out to Ansell to fire under the keeper.
Ansell at the double to head into the top corner at the back post following a perfect cross from Ostle.
Against the run of play Satchmos got 2 goals of their own before half time when they got on the end of balls in behind the defence and scoring from either side of the box.

Second half was an end to end affair with chances falling for both sides. It was Satchmos who got the next goal when everyone expected the cross to come in but instead found the bottom corner from range.
The game really could have gone either way from then on out but neither team could find that winner.
