Our next game day is only a few days away now - Sun 14/06/26 - UPLINK

For this one teams will need to get their base Satcom up and running as soon as possible by securing fuel to power their generator. Once it's up and running fuel won't last long though, so you will need a steady supply... and if you can't find any more stashed - raiding the enemy teams camp for fuel may be your next best option...

Once up and running, use your Satcom to start filling data drives with battlefield data, and then it's time to push onto the next objective - producing and recovering experimental weapons supplies.

As always gates open at 0730, briefings start at 0915, Endex at 1600.

Firstly and as always a big thanks to all of you that joined us on Sunday for our game day - Chain Reaction.

I have to admit, that was a pretty interesting turn out... over 270 of you guys joined us for this one, which even though we are used to running big numbers, for us was quite the turnout! In fact for a standard walk-on game day it actually gave us a new site record which which was a nice surprise.

The site took it well though, and being the size it is, it wasn't long before we had players spread across the 50-60 acres creating some amazing battles all over the site. Overwatch Hill, Comms, Signpost Hill and Landy all saw some really big skirmishes, and I have to say the game play and sportsmanship on the whole was on point, so thanks folks, you all really impressed us.

I also think its fair to say that the addition of Steve's Super Whip Midlands during the afternoon was a big hit during this warmer weather too... and don't worry, Steve will be returning for all our games this summer before you ask 😄.

Right then, onto the scores for Sunday...

Our 2 hour themed morning game Chain Reaction was scored as follows :

💥 Objective 1 : Teams needed to locate and secure the hidden Chemical Weapons Lab located in the jungle area and hold it for as much of the game as possible whilst its stripped of valuable data. The zone is scored every 10 mins from game on until endex for the team that has control of it.

In addition teams can score bonus points for holding the base for 30 consecutive minutes, for which they can activate the detonator and blow one of the main chemical tanks.

🔵 Blues : Lab held for 12x scored times : 120 Points
🔴 Reds : Lab held for 0x scored times : 0 Points

🔵 Blues 3x Bonus Chemical Tank det's : 30 Points

💥 Objective 2 : There are 4 unstable chemical weapon stockpiles around the site that have been rigged to blow. Once a large firefight occurs around one of these stockpiles this will trigger the 15 min det timer. A marshal at the location will raise the orange flag to signal the 15 min timer has started.

Teams need to fight to control that stockpile bomb, and the team that has control of the stockpile at the end of the 15 min timer can detonate the stockpile and claim the points.

🔵 Blues : 2x Stockpiles destroyed : 40 Points
🔴 Reds : 2x Stockpiles destroyed : 40 Points

💥 Objective 3 : Once a chemical weapon stockpile is destroyed 2x chemical sample canisters are recovered from the detonation to the team that occupies that zone. Players that recover these samples need to transport them to the Chemical Weapon Lab, and hand them to the marshal there before endex to score the successful sample retrieval.

However, once these samples are recovered and in play they are a 'lootable item', and players carrying them if killed must place the samples on the floor, at which point they can be recovered by any alive player from either team to compete their recovery.

🔵 Blues : 6x Samples recovered : 60 Points
🔴 Reds : 0x Samples recovered : 0 Points

💥 Bonus Objective : There are 20 missing experimental Chem-Pack syringes missing from the lab and hidden somewhere on site. Players need to look for and recover these syringes.

Attached to each syringe is a yellow and black armband. If a player finds a syringe they can 'take' the experimental chem-pack which effectively boosts their resilience for the remainder of the game. They take the chem-pack by placing the attached yellow armband on, and until endex that player can now 'bleed-out' in half the normal bleed-out time, and also respawn from a medic is half the normal respawn countdown time.

Used syringes can be handed to any marshal once recovered, and a rolling tally of how many each team recovers is kept.

🔵 Blues : 10x Chem-Pack Syringes recovered : 100 Points
🔴 Reds : 7x Chem-Pack Syringes recovered : 70 Points

Final scores :

🔵 Blues : 320 Points
🔴 Reds : 110 Points

🟦 Blues win Chain Reaction, well done Blues!

Afternoon Game 1 - Domination

💥 5x Control Zones have been designated on site, each with a Red/Blue flag system. Teams must fight to control as many of the control zones as possible and for as long as possible. Whilst their colour flag is raised at a control zone, their team colour stop watch is running from the marshal at that location. If they lose a location to the enemy team, their stop watch is paused, and the other teams stopwatch is started (and vice versa). 1 min of control at a location equals 1 point for scoring.

🟩 EAST FOB
🔵 Blues : 47:13s
🔴 Reds : 00:23s

🟩 SIGNPOST HILL
🔵 Blues : 46:33s
🔴 Reds : 00:00s

🟩 DEPOT
🔵 Blues : 00:00s
🔴 Reds : 47:24s

🟩 BORDER CAMP
🔵 Blues : 10:08s
🔴 Reds : 36:34s

🟩 COMMS
🔵 Blues : 00:00s
🔴 Reds : 43:10s

🔵 Blues : 103 Points
🔴 Reds : 126 Points

🟥 Reds win Domination - Well done Reds!

Afternoon Game 2 - Parasite

Each player on each team starts the game with a green armband on in addition to they team colour bands. This green armband signifies their 'parasite'.

The objective of the game is for players to try and lose their parasite by transferring it to a dead player on the enemy team, during that dead players 1 min bleed out phase.

Alive players can transfer as many green armbands they have accumulated to any dead player on the enemy team during their bleed out phase, if they can get to that dead player, and transfer them over before the players bleed out timer ends, or they themselves are killed.

Essentially players who have accumulated numerous bands need to desperately hunt and eliminate enemy players or find already dead enemy players as fast as possible to get rid of their bands. Players who have managed to get rid of their bands need to try and stay alive and keep away from enemy players carrying bands who will try and offload theirs on that player.

The winning team is the team with the least overall parasite bands at endex.

🔵 Blues : 68 Parasites remaining
🔴 Reds : 45 Parasites remaining

🟥 Reds win Parasite, well done Reds!

Well, its fair to say Blues took the morning game Chain Reaction with a decisive victory, keeping hold of the Chemical Lab all morning despite the Blues constant pressure, and therefore racking up those points really fast. Reds came back strong in the afternoon though, winning both afternoon games, so well done both teams, really nicely played 👌.

Thanks again for joining us for this one folks, and as always thanks for all your feedback and kind words on the day, its always appreciated.

Game pics will be out in the next couple of days so keep your eyes peeled for those, and our next game day is Sunday 14th June, so we hope you can join us for that one.

Until next time folks.

As always a big thanks to everyone that joined us for our game day today - Chain Reaction.

We were expecting a busy one, but even we were surprised by 274 of you crazy lot joining us for this one, which was actually a site record for a standard game day, so that was pretty cool 👍🏻.

It was a busy day, some really big intense fire fights as you'd expect, but also some really nice sneaky position attacks on a few of the zones which were really fun to watch unfold.

As always you all played your socks off today and although Blues shot off to a big start this morning, Reds brought it back in the second half of the morning game and the afternoon, so well done both teams... Nicely done 👌🏻.

We hope you all had a decent day with us today, and as always the game scores and pics will be out on the page later in the week.

Thanks again, and until next time folks.

Well, that's another busy few weeks between games.

After a couple of days off after the last game day it's been a pretty solid 2 and a half weeks on site since. We've blasted through a load of jobs, so fairly small, some a bit more time consuming, but it's been a productive few weeks which has been good, and this weather although a tad on the warm side at times has been amazing.

So, what we've been up to since you were last with us...

✅ Car park field strimmed and cut.
✅ Site hedge rows all cut back.
✅ Bardy Lane hedge rows all cut back.
✅ Top GameZone path strimmed and de-nettled.
✅ 50 new barrels painted and out on site jazzing up a few of the zones.
✅ Lots of new barriers added to Border zone area.
✅ A load of old expansion chambers and gas bottles cleared and repurposed into some game zone props.
✅ Bardy Lane sign repaired.
✅ Safezone entrance welcome boards replaced.
✅ A ton of GameZone weeding and strimming.
✅ Some finishing touches on a few of the new bridges.
✅ Armoury, shop, reception and shelters have all had their summer clean down.
... and a ton of smaller site tidying, maintenance and clearing jobs all got rid off.

The new barriers in and around the Border Camp zone should make that zone play a bit better which has been a nice addition. The barrels... Well they weren't planned tbf, but my barrel guy gave me a call last week with an offer I couldn't refuse, so that knocked a couple of other jobs back to next week, but tbh you can never have enough barrels on site, and when they are painted and jazzed up as well as cover they also add some nice aesthetics to some of the areas too.

The gas bottles and cylinders were fun. Once they were vented and cleaned up (don't worry they get properly purged and then water filled to clear them out properly in case you were wondering 😄) they painted up really nicely, adding some more biohazard/chemical zone props to the ridiculously big prop store.

It's been nice to give the site it's first summer hair cut of the year too... Weirdly I really enjoy the hedge cutting and strimming, (Even if there is acres and acres of it 🙈😄) but this year's perfect sun and rain mix had made everything grow like made the last month or so, so that was a bit of a killer I won't lie ... But now it's just keeping everything cut back every few weeks until the end of summer which is easy enough.

So yeah, loads going on as usual, think we've been on pretty much every day the last 2 and a half weeks, and even had chance for a bit of a BBQ to make the most of this amazing weather which was a nice bonus (thanks Jake).

Thanks as always to Jake Neil and James for your help the last few weeks fellas, appreciated as always 🙌🏻.

The sites pretty much set up the weekend, and the weather looks perfect this Sunday so we are looking forward to seeing you all back after our 3 week break.

Lots more planned on site the next 2 weeks after this game day so no rest for the wicked.

Our next game day is less than a week away now - Sunday 31/05 - Chain Reaction.

We're back after our 3 week break with a chemical weapons themed game day this time. Teams will need to take control of the chemical weapons research lab, locate and neutralise bio-weapon stockpiles, recover any samples they can from the test sites, and ultimately earn detonators to finally destroy the laboratory camp before Exfil.

As always gates open at 0730, briefings start at 0915, endex at 1600.

Cya Sunday folks.
