Well that’s it.

My final post for this wonderful team. They have been brilliant this season and to achieve 2nd place in the league makes me really proud.

I will miss every single one of them and I can’t wait to see how they get on in their new teams.

Thank you for allowing me to coach you all these years, you have given me extra grey hairs but it has been totally worth it. To see you all develop, learn new skills has been amazing.

I’m so jealous of you all, you get to still play football and continue on your journeys. I’m way too old for that now.

Big thank you to all the players I’ve had! And a massive, massive thank you to all the parents. Your support has kept me going and I hope you have enjoyed watching them as much as I have.

Thank you to all the sponsors I’ve had over the years, your generosity has given these kids kits, equipment and a place to play their matches.

Thank you to all of the other coaches that have helped me as well. Your help has improved the team absolutely loads.

Tonight was our very last ever presentation night! What a brilliant night to celebrate the hard work the team put in over the season.

Big thank you to NO.1 Entertainment professional wedding and Party DJ service for the disco and Photo Booth.

Hannah at Tipples & Tonics for supplying the bar and amazing cocktails!

And Zephi for everything they have done this season and all the previous ones!

Armitage with Handsacre Village Hall for the use of the hall.

Our very last match was played yesterday with our good friends Chasetown Juniors. We picked random positions, swapped players to Chasetown and just had a great little friendly. No one cared about winning or loosing, it was just about playing football.

I really enjoyed this match and didn’t want to blow the whistle at full time, I could have carried on watching them play. Everyone then had penalties and we finished with a kick about with the parents and supporters. Cue me scoring a worldy of a goal!

Sad to not see these little legends playing again as a brilliant team, but I know they will go on to great things.

Big thank you to my little legend players! I’ve loved watching you train and play. Thank you parents and supporters, you have been amazing and are great friends, thank you for allowing me to coach a game I absolutely love.

Thank you pervious coaches Greg, Luke and Amber. You have been a great help to our team.

Thank you previous players and parents that had left us, I hope you are still on your football journey and enjoying every moment.
