It’s not “hippy-dippy” stuff. Read until the end, I promise it’ll spark some thoughts. In 2022 the topic “healing” is tabu. I’ve been promoting and teaching about healing, self love for 10 years. Self worth, confidence, knowing how to find the real you. The deeper I go, the more it is revealed.
Some things I’ve been sharing publicly, some I discussed in private as I had people reaching out, because you can only understand certain things if you’ve been there before. It’s how our mind works. It’s like you won’t know the flavour of a delicious meal unless you tasted it for yourself, no matter how well people will describe the different spices and condiments used to make it.
You can do it . It’s not easy work, but if you’re willing to push past what’s convenient and comfortable, you, your kids, your grandkids, grand-grandkids and so on will thank you. It also doesn’t mean that there’s anything wrong with you or any of your ancestors. We do the best we can and the best we know in certain situations and that’s good enough for that time.
It is, however, our own responsibility to not keep ourselves stuck in that mindset or in a set of borrowed convictions that kept us in the same circle of mistakes and choices. Look inwards, don’t just be quick to find someone outside of you to blame. Be prepared to sit with the uncomfortable, allow your safe circle to call you out and call yourself out on your own BS. That brings growth. If we think we’re perfect and right all the time we will never grow and change.
As the only constant in life is change, you will re-live the same situations and choices over and over again until you’re ready to change perspective in order to address the issues in a different way so you can learn the lessons and get different results.
