So we all know that the time is fast approaching when we will be inundated with dieting for the christmas parties and then bombarded with food to buy and when it is all over and done then every magazine ,supermarket and tv ad will be about weight loss and stupid diets.

Its the same merry go round and its very disheartening for many.

If you need to lose weight and keep weight off then think of a long term plan with a steady loss and sensible healthy eating.
Join a gym close to you not just looking at price because if its miles away you just wont go.
If you are serious and want to change then get a professional to help you.Choosing the right PT for you is important, check if they are registered and their experience.
If a PT can give you the times and days you dictate then be very wary.
Eat all the veg you like and cut down on red meat.
Look at portion sizes and remember cheap nasty snacks and chocolate is cheap for a reason.
Move more, get out and walk and feel the huge benefits.stop using lifts and get up those stairs.

Just do NOT fall for the same old nonsense.
START your resolutions Now not in January and leave guilt behind.
All the very best
Lorna

New Years eve saw me on The Tissington trail in Derbyshire it was amazingly beautiful but the last 10 miles was so tough, the wind would not give up and the rain came down hard, there were times i got off my bike to run with it because it was quicker.
When i got to the van i was so cold i couldnt feel my fingers or toes, but i soon warmed up and was thankful for the heater and my food i had brought.
I am so fortunate that i do not have to live rough and endure the cold and the wet or go hungry.
I am making my 2016 one of being more helpful to people who are finding it tough.
Depaul is a great organisation helping the homeless and helping them find work and housing,if you want to donate biscuits and chocolate you may be tempted to eat, take them to your local homeless shelters in town
Be Healthy,Be Happy by helping others when they extend their hand.xx
