Pre-season underway for our U15 Predators!

A great run-out for the lads in their first pre-season friendly today, and some valuable minutes in the legs as we build towards the new season.

Plenty of positives, plenty to work on, and all played on a cracking sunny morning! 💙⚽️

⚽ Fancy getting involved in coaching?

We’re looking for a couple of people to help out with our U15 teams this season.

Both teams already have managers in place, but an extra pair of hands at training and on match days would be a massive help. It could be setting up and running a few drills, helping with warm-ups or just generally getting involved and supporting the lads.

It might be perfect for a uni or college student studying PE or sport who wants some extra hands-on experience for their CV, or equally someone who just loves football and fancies getting involved with a local team.

You don't need loads of coaching experience either, we're happy to help with training and getting you up to speed.

We're a friendly little club and there's no expectation that you suddenly give up your whole weekend 😂 Just a bit of extra help would make a big difference to our managers and teams.

A fantastic evening on Friday as we welcomed Pete and Jess from Evolution-Physio, to training to officially present our U15 Spartans and U15 Predators with their brand new sponsored kits.

The kits look absolutely brilliant, and we're incredibly grateful to Pete and Jess for their incredible support. Partnerships like this make a real difference to grassroots football and help give our players something to be proud of every time they pull on the shirt.

Pete took the time to chat to the players, coaches and parents about the range of treatments and services Evolution-Physio offers, explaining how they can help everyone from young athletes recovering from injuries to parents trying to keep those slightly older, creakier bodies moving! I think I might even be booking myself in for some acupuncture soon! 😂

A huge thank you again to Evolution-Physio for believing in what we're building at Rugby Town Juniors. We're proud to have you as part of the club and can't wait to see both teams wearing these fantastic kits throughout the season.

A huge thank you to Mulberry Homes for their incredible support of Rugby Town FC Juniors. 💙⚽

Over the past couple of seasons, Mulberry Homes have been fantastic supporters of our team, and thanks to their latest donation we've been able to provide our players with new training equipment and rain jackets to keep them developing whatever the weather. 🌧️💪

As a grassroots club, partnerships like this make a real difference. Every contribution helps us create the best possible environment for our young players to learn, develop and most importantly, enjoy their football.

Next up, we're delighted to introduce another of our fantastic teams for the 2026/27 season...

💙 Rugby Town Juniors U15 Spartans 💙

The Spartans will be representing the club in the Coventry & Warwickshire Youth League, playing their fixtures on Sundays. After a positive pre-season, the squad is looking forward to getting the campaign underway.

Leading the team this season are:

U12's took part in a Junior Wolf Run few months ago and raised enough money for their own portable defib for pitchside. Thankyou OurJay for coming to our training session last week and to Naomi for giving us the information we need. We are very proud of the boys (and parents) for what they achieved.

Last week we were so proud to be invited along to Rugby Town Boys U12’s training session, to deliver the pitch side defibrillator that they all worked so hard to raise funds for.
The lads took part in a very tough Wolf Run and managed to raise over £1000, so some of these funds went straight towards their own OurJay Pitch side defibrillator.
OurJay supported with our charity discount, to make sure that some of their raised funds could be left over to help with some more equipment for the club.
Naomi enjoyed talking to the team and parents/coaches about defibrillators and heart safety in sport…as well as encouraging them all to download the new OurJay app, to keep up with all news and new community accessible defibrillators 🩵💙🩵

Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter.

Rugby Town Juniors has been created to provide a positive, inclusive and player-focused environment where children can develop their football skills, build confidence, make friends and, most importantly, enjoy the game they love.

Our aim is simple:

✅ Create a fun and supportive environment
✅ Encourage teamwork, respect and hard work
✅ Help every child reach their potential
