Right buckle up because this is going to be a MEGA APPRECIATION POST for Miss Megan, (Megan don’t read it as we know you hate compliments)!

It’s taken us a while to do an official post about Miss Megan’s unbelievable achievements over the last month or so. Truth be told it’s because we wanted to do it properly and not just a generic thank you one so here we go!

Miss Megan (or just Meg as we first knew her) has been with us first as a student, and now as a teacher since we first started in January 2023. She made the really difficult and inspiring punt to take a chance with us and leave her final bits of education and employment in our hands.

Well thank GOODNESS she did!!!

You know when people say “Ahhh what would be do without you?” Well this is a very genuine “what would we do without you!?”

We’ve both never met a more selfless human when it comes to her teaching and putting others first.

Megan can you do this? Yep. Megan…..? Yep. You sure? Yep.

She’s always the first person to say yes if she knows it’ll help. After double ankle surgery she was back as soon as she could (way before if you ask us MISS MEGAN 👀) because she knew how much we needed her.

Flash forward to now, Evolve categorically would not work without you with us. You teach Singing, Dancing, Acting and our Dancin’ Dots. Teaching them all with the patience, care and warmth most teachers could only dream of.

To top it all off, she has raised £730 for our Evolve Fund!!!! £730!!!!! All off her own back, 10000 steps a day, every day for a month, incredible work!

Our lovely Miss Megan and Miss Emily G are doing another workshop! 😍

The results are in and the May Mini Musical in a Day is going to be The Greatest Showman🎪✨

Join us for a day of singing, dancing, acting and even learn some circus skills!

We’ve had 12 enquiries this past week which is a new record for us and that’s down to word of mouth.

Absolutely love this and so proud of our Miss Megan 😊🫶

This May, I’m taking on a challenge - I’m walking 10,000 steps every day to raise money for the Evolve Theatre Academy Fund. I’ll be honest, I’m not exactly known for smashing step counts, so this will definitely be a challenge but I’m determined to give it my all!

For me, getting outside is a game changer. If I’m having a down day, a walk can do me wonders, and that’s a big part of why I wanted to do this.

The fund supports students who may be struggling to get that pair of tap shoes or desperately want to try a class but know they can’t afford it that month. Theatre should be accessible to everyone, regardless of finances.

At Evolve, mental health is always the priority. It’s a space where students can laugh, cry, vent, and feel supported and leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
