Rugby Town Women 3–2 Shrewsbury Up & Comers Ladies
Rugby took the lead from a quick free kick, with Leah finding Rachel, who played the ball in first time. The Shrewsbury goalkeeper fumbled under the pressure, allowing Molly to react quickest and finish into the back of the net.

Rugby doubled their lead in the second half from another set piece. Lilly’s free kick put the goalkeeper under pressure once again, with the ball parried into the path of Katie, who powered her header into the net.
Shrewsbury fought back to level at 2–2 after Rugby lost some organisation, but the team regrouped and kept pushing for a winner.
That winner came from another quick free kick, with Leah finding Katie, who was brought down in the box for a clear penalty. Molly stepped up and calmly slotted the spot-kick into the bottom-left corner.
Rugby saw out the remaining minutes of the game to secure a hard-fought 3–2 victory and all three points.
