#2023

30/12/2022

2022 what a year, Its been such a rollercoaster from dislocating my shoulder and being told I need an operation and I wont be able to fight all year and then ignoring the doctors making myself stronger and going on to win 2 months after the injury starting my own business, winning the rest of my fights and a title so 2022 has taught me not to give up and always keep pushing forward 2022 has also brought alot of losses but im thankful for the lessons and as always they make you grow as a person im not one for getting put down and giving up πŸ˜… I couldn't of done all this without my family, friends, coach and team thankyou everyone for the support over the past year 2023 is going to be bigger and better. Happy new year❀

OLD POST REUPLOADING TO FACEBOOK.

After feeling like i was dying for nearly 2 weeks, today i felt good not 100% again but good. Technically i feel great my body just has no power at the moment.

It really got on my nerves but when i was on my way home i was watching this video and reminiscing on my session today. I actually had a good session and i thought to myself its normal for my body to be weak i have not eaten properly in a week, ive been on my sofa just sleeping the whole time so of cousre im going to be weak.

And i know my mind will always beat me me up for things like this but as i get more experienced and older im starting to realise i do need to start listening to and looking after my body. your body is your temple and you need to take care of it. As a fighter we put our bodys through alot of stress also the mind so its vital we look after ourselves to live a long and healthy life.

So lesson life lesson I have learnt is listen to your body and take recovery seriously so you get better quicker even if your mind is beating you up and saying go, maybe tell yourself its time we just take a rest. Force yourself to do it and think long term it will be worth it.

But dose anyone else feel like there mind is beating them up for not doing enough when your actually doing too much? Feel free to dm if you feel the same we can talk it about it πŸ™πŸ“©

Eveyones favourite... leg day

Here are a short few clips of my leg session during a fight camp

During fight camp i like to mix up my exercises so my mind doesn't get bored These are the few i regularly come back too because i actually enjoy the challenge they bring. Using these i can feel my kicks are getting alot stronger and my balance has become better too along with the plyometrics and strength and conditioning my legs feel very strong πŸ’ͺ

1- squats 3 sets 15 reps
2- Romanian deadlifts 3 sets 15 reps
3- incline leg press 3 sets 15 reps
4- eccentric leg extensions 3 sets 8 reps
5 - box jump into squat lands (great for balance) 3 sets 2 minutes a set πŸ‘Œ

With me being in fight camp the weight i use wont be too heavy but heavy enough so i get what i need out of the type of training im doing i would suggest you do the same due to the amount of reps

1-2-1s and group training available dm me to book in πŸ“©

WITH ACTUAL FIGHT FOOTAGE!

Baiting your opponent...

So if your opponent is just circling the ring or sitting in the corner teeping you away i have found that flicking the hip like so in the video really dose make the opponent think they are safe and they can move forward but really they are just moving forward into a shot. These few clips show you different ways to bait your opponent out and land something of your own. It is completely up to you what you throw after the flick of the hip it all depends on how your opponent reacts

Follow for more and for 1-2-1s feel free to drop me a message πŸ“©
