RRC Qualified Guide Runner 🏃🏽 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

Some news for RRC - we have a member of the community that is now an official England Athletics Guide Runner! Thanks to Ruddington Village Community Partnership, we were able to put Mike through the necessary steps to get his qualification.

That includes an England Athletics safe guarding course, first aid course and a face to face guide runner training day over in Birmingham. He will eventually go on the guide runner database and be available to help those that require assistance out there in the running world.

A massive thanks to Mike who was keen to take on the responsibility not only for taking the course requirements, but now also for being a guide runner! Well done Mike.

As always, thanks for the team at for being so accommodating early on a Friday. They’ve always got our loyalty cards ready and waiting 🎉 it’s difficult to remember what we used to do after a Friday morning run before Birds was around! 🦅 🐦 A reminder that the market is on tomorrow - , catch some of you down there!

RRC Social at ! Thanks to and for hosting the RRC social alongside the battle of the bands on Thursday. The pizza was well received 🍕 (obvs!) and there might have been a few sore heads on Friday morning. The weather treated us well in general for Rudd Fest and I’m looking forward to the next social 👏🏼

Sunday RRC X Coffee Run! ☕️ 🥐 hats off to the team as per for looking after us. It was an enjoyable run out this morning in a sleepy Ruddington. A busy few days at Rudd Fest meant it was nice to get out and about hangover free. See you tomorrow for the post run pint (back at The Heart!) or for the trail session on Wednesday.
