And a huge thank you to the Country Fair organisers for doing a fantastic job putting on a great event, yet again. You all do a brilliant job every year.

Yesterday, we welcomed our friends from the Tenterden branch of the Association of Men of Kent and Kentish Men for their annual afternoon of "Croquet &
and Cream Tea" at Ivychurch Croquet Club.
Following a short pairs competition (3 games, 7 hoops per game), ably assisted by ICC members, our visitors were served a full afternoon tea of a selection of finger sandwiches, cheese & fruit scones with jam & cream, and a selection of home-made cakes all washed down with copious cups of tea (or coffee).
The sun beat down on the parched lawns but a gentle breeze made playing conditions pleasant.
Much fun and laughter was had by all followed by excellent refreshment.
Sadly, Tenterden branch, we are told, is closing down but everyone was keen for their annual outing to Ivychurch Croquet Club to continue and we look forward to welcoming them all again next July!

It was a tad on the warm side at Millbank Farm today (home of Ivychurch Croquet Club) but members took sensible precautions and enjoyed a lovely day of croquet.

This summer we are trialling evening and weekend club sessions for people who may be interested in taking up croquet but are unable to play during the week.

A great day of competition for our annual Coronation Cup. Members, sporting red, white & blue attire enjoyed a chilly but dry day and nine rounds of hotly contested games.
The round robin competition was followed by tea with a selection of delicious cheese scones and cakes baked by the members.
Thanks to everyone who took part, who helped to put on the competition and who provided the refreshments.
