A huge thank you to everyone who came down for yesterday’s Reed Cricket Club work day 👏🌾

Cleaning, painting sightscreens, boundary nets, grass cutting, outdoor nets, fixing the showers and plenty more. The ground is really starting to come together ahead of the new season.

A few people are heading down again today between 10–1 if anyone wants to join.

Next work days: Saturday 11 April & Sunday 12 April – even a few hours helps and it makes a big difference.

Thanks again everyone and have a great Sunday!

Overseas Announcement!

Delighted to announce that Tom Thorpe will be Reed’s overseas player for the 2026 season.

Tom is currently playing for St George District CC in Sydney, Australia, and am sure he will be a great addition to Reed!

Welcome to Reed Thorpey 🌾 🏏

Great to see so many people attending the winter nets over the past few weeks — it really bodes well for the new season 🏏

A special thank you to Jack Tidey for delivering a seam bowling masterclass for our U15s last night, and to Rob Lankester who ran a brilliant batting session the previous week. Sessions like this are hugely valuable for our young players and really appreciated by the club.

Our next net session is:

📅 Friday 13 March
📍 Knights Templar Sports Centre
⏰ 8–9pm

We hope to see plenty of you there!
