You are hopefully all aware, but just in case - the sports hall at the leisure centre is now shut until 8th September so there will be no badminton until then. Hopefully if all goes well we will return on the 9th Sept. 🤞

As many of you will have already worked out, there will be no badminton on the 26th December. The next session will be on the 2nd January. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all 🌲See you in 2024 😄

Whilst we are always happy to hear from people wishing to play/join our club can we please politely request that you don't just turn up. Instead, please contact Steve at [email protected] first. We have a small waiting list and try to regulate the numbers to make sure everyone gets a decent amount of games. Thank you 😀

Hi all, the leisure centre will be closing early on December 27th, so there will be no badminton on that day. We will be back to normal as of January 3rd.

The leisure centre will be closing early on Tuesday 28th December so there will be no badminton that evening. We will be playing as normal next week (21st) and will return in the new year on the 4th Jan.

Hi to all our members old and new, thanks for supporting the club over this difficult time. Just to make you all aware that as of now, we are back to our full allocation of courts (4 in the first hour and 3 in the second hour), which hopefully means less waiting for games 😀

It was great to be back playing tonight even if we were all a bit rusty 😉 Hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves and won't suffer too many aches and pains tomorrow. Hi All, we are due to re-commence playing this Tuesday (4th August) 😃. Leisure Centre restrictions mean that you can only play if you have pre-registered. We cannot allow people to walk-in and join. If you haven't already and would like to play, please email Steve at [email protected]

Hi All, hope you're all keeping well. As you may be aware, leisure centres are allowed to re-open as of today. Due to the regulations that the leisure centre has to follow, it is looking unlikely that the badminton club will be allowed (at least for now) in the format it was in. We have been advised that we may only be allowed to play singles and with a limited number of people. We are waiting for confirmation from the centre and will update when we know more.
