The Acorn Children’s clinic opens its doors tomorrow! So excited to be involved with this project. The Acorn children’s clinic has been born out of a passion to provide accessible treatment to children of all ages, from newborn babies to toddlers to teens, regardless of a family’s financial situation. Thanks to part funding from the National Lottery we are able to subsidise treatment for families in financial hardship and support children who would not access complimentary treatment otherwise. It will be a safe space to support the physical, mental, emotional and behavioural needs of all age children through both Osteopathy and Acupuncture.

A unique massage combining my Osteopathic diagnostic skills with the beauty of wonderful massage techniques especially designed for pregnancy. Before the massage I will examine your posture and look for how the body is adapting to the stresses and strains of pregnancy. The massage focuses on balancing the spinal musculature, making sure the gluteals are released to reduce sciatic pain and enable the sacrum to move. The areas in strain will be released depending the posture type, stage of pregnancy, muscle tone etc, It includes lymph drainage to help with swollen ankles/ wrists and generally is a top to toe relaxing, nourishing hour, recommended throughout pregnancy from 3-9months. I’m looking forward to being able to return to work soon, it’s been a busy time home schooling children and preparing the clinic for the Osteopaths to return to work. They are now safely seeing patients so we just have to now wait for further guidance for the massage.
