Old Leamingtonians are pleased to announce the final addition to the Men’s coaching set up for the 2026/27 season.

Former OL’s 1st XV Captain and current Warwickshire Men’s Captain Tom Eales returns to the club as Backs Coach.

Since departing the club at the end of the 2022/23 season to join Nuneaton RFC, Tom went on to win the Regional 2 Midlands East league trophy, as well as the Warwickshire Cup on two occasions. Most recently, Tom captained the Warwickshire Men’s XV during their 2026 campaign and received his Warwickshire Rugby blazer – the highest accolade available at Warwickshire County level.

Due to work travel and coaching commitments with the University of Birmingham, Tom rejoins the club on a more ‘part-time’ basis.

On Thursday the High Sheriff of Warwickshire came to Hornets mixed ability rugby teams training session to recognise our coaches.
Kelvin, Lester and Therese were thanked for coaching and supporting the Hornets players.
Susan Rasmussen the High Sheriff presented them with a certificate and met with players and parents.
Parents and players shared their experience of being a part of the team, how they have not only gained new physical and sport skills, but also gained social skills and friendships.

Thank you to Kelvin, Lester and Therese you are amazing and we all really appreciate your support as coaches and friendship.

An away win for the Women's Team puts them in a great position to tackle the season to come! The women's training takes place Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00pm so come and get stuck in!

This saturday Old Leamingtonians hosted JessFest26 where we saw food, walking rugby, the women's team facing off against Camp Hill, music and socialising for a wonderful cause. The lads have been back in action getting their first Pre-Season match underway. We have more matches to come before the delayed season kicks off so stay tuned for more information and an updated fixture list!
