We're delighted to see Hattie continue her rise in international karate after securing Bronze at the World Karate Federation (WKF) Karate One Youth League in Fujairah.

Competing against some of the world's best young karate athletes, Hattie's achievement is the latest milestone in an impressive comeback story following injury and her British Championship success in 2025.

Her ambition is clear: to become World Number One by the age of 18.

Congratulations to Hattie, her coach Ben Campbell and everyone at Kaisho Karate who continues to support her development.

A huge congratulations to all of our athletes who competed at the Yanagi Kai Open Karate Championships this weekend.

Stepping onto the tatami takes courage, dedication, and countless hours of hard work, and every athlete who represented Kaisho Karate should be incredibly proud of their efforts.

Whether you returned home with a medal, gained valuable competition experience, or overcame personal challenges, every performance contributed to what makes our club special. The commitment, sportsmanship, and team spirit shown throughout the day were a credit to yourselves, your families, and our dojo.

Thank you to all of our coaches, parents, supporters, and officials who continue to help our athletes develop and achieve their goals.

After months of hard work, planning, passion and collaboration, we are incredibly proud to launch a brand-new digital future for English Karate in partnership with Sport:80.

This is more than just a platform it’s a huge step forward for our community and karate in England. Built to support clubs, coaches, officials, athletes and members at every level, this marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for karate in England.

Tomorrow, we’ll be meeting with the Heads of Associations to provide them with the tools, guidance and support needed to help smoothly transition into a new way of working ensuring everyone feels confident, supported and ready for the future.
