I TOOK PART IN MY FIRST VAULT STYLE TOURNAMENT
Yesterday I took part in my first Vault style tournament, hosted by Bostin Darts 180 Bar.
The tournament was very well organised and ran well.
I was joined on the day with DartsMatt, Archie Bennett and Jamie Tyas, It was actually Matt that approached me to play in this, and lm glad he did as I have definitely got the bug to play again.
And could you believe, when the draw was made, who did I have in my group? Yes you guessed it Archie and Matt. ( In fact the first game was myself Vs Archie, Marked by Matt. You couldn't write it )
As expected tho, l wasn't much of a challenge to the other players there, but the main thing is l didn't make a fool of my self and in times l threw some decent darts. Also l did manage to actually win a game. But the experience is just what l needed and l will be back for another shot.
On the day tho, it was Grant Mooney Jackson that took the title , beating Jamie Tyas in the final, in what was a very close game.
