💙✨ MEET KATHRYN — OUR NEW DF CLASS ASSISTANT! ✨

I’m so excited to welcome Kathryn to the DF team this term! 🥰

A little bit about Kathryn… 👇🏼

💃 DF dancer from a young age — Kathryn started dancing with me at DF After School Club in Rothes when she was just 5 or 6!

🌟 A familiar face at Dance Fusion & Moray Dance — continuing her dance journey through many classes over the years.

📣 Talented cheerleader — Kathryn also trains at ASCD in Elgin.

🎓 Youth Dance Leader — this summer she completed her Youth Dance Leader qualification with Active Schools.

🤸🏼‍♀️ Acrobatic Arts demonstrator — Kathryn helped me earlier this year by being my demonstrator while I completed my Acrobatic Arts teaching qualification!

💙From being one of my little dancers to now joining me as a class assistant… I absolutely love this full-circle moment! 🥹✨

I’m so excited to have Kathryn by my side helping this term and know she’ll be a fantastic role model for our DF dancers! 🌟💃

What a fantastic day at the Moray Gymnastics Club Competition! 🤸‍♀️

This morning, I had the pleasure of judging the Beam competition for the P4–P7 gymnasts, and I was delighted to see our very own Aoife Innes crowned Overall P5 Champion! 👏🏻🏆

This afternoon, I swapped my judge’s hat for my favourite role as Mum, cheering on my own little gymnast, Gianna, who also came home with a gold medal. 🥇❤️

A huge thank you to Moray Gymnastics Ltd for inviting me along, and congratulations on such a brilliant event. Well done to everyone who took part! 💙

💙Just a little reminder that Dance Fusion After School Clubs are not running today, as last week was our final week before the summer holidays ☀️

Here are a few photos from our last week! We had so much fun with ice poles, little treats, special awards, acro, even slime!! (Thank you Willow) and our juniors took on a choreography challenge. 💃🏼🕺🏻

Thank you to all our amazing dancers and parents for another fantastic term. I hope you all have a wonderful summer break!

Don’t worry though… you’ll still see plenty of me before I head off on my maternity leave. 😊 After school clubs will be back after the summer holidays, and I can’t wait to see everyone dancing again soon! 💃✨💙

A great day at Mortlach Primary School in Dufftown today for their Activities Day! 💃☀️
We enjoyed trying some Street Dance, Jazz and a little Contemporary, and it was so lovely to see lots of familiar faces from classes over the years.

The ice cream van was a brilliant treat for the children 🍦, and a special thank you to my old pal Miss Slessor for bringing one along to me in the classroom too! 😊🫶

Thank you to Mortlach Primary for inviting me along – I had a fantastic day! 💙
