Members how to enter the new gym space

There is a corridor between the old and new gym buildings the door will be unlocked turn left through the door and you will see a fob scanner to the left of the white door, active members cards will unlock this door by holding it to the scanner for now until the turn style can be installed

Were moving into a new building space on the 30th of November, our new space is bigger and will have a much better layout marking 50 years of the Phoenix Gym on site and bringing us into 2024

We're open 6am to 10pm (last entry 9pm)

7 days a week 363 days a year only closing on Christmas day and New years day

Annual membership is JUST £45 + one time £10 deposit for entry swipe card refundable when if you leave

And then JUST £1 per attendance meaning unlike other gyms if you don't attend for a while you are not locked into a monthly fee

Were also home to Team Manimal Strongman a dedicated Strongman gym on site with a vast range of equipment and open for x4 3 hour sessions weekly

Mon/ Wed 6-9pm
Sat/ Sun 10-1pm

Open to all no memberships £5pp for a 3 hour session with help and guidance on hand for free

The time is finally upon us for the big move of the Phoenix Gym from it's current location to the new space in the building next door...

Saturday the 30th of November is the moving date starting at 8:30am and were looking for all the help we can get, if you're available and willing to help please come along on the 30th it will be greatly appreciated

Hi members, has anyone seen or picked up a pair of Scull Candy headphones in the gym, they were left there around a week ago and belong to Scott jones, if you have them could you please return them directly to him or drop a message to the gym page messanger

Team Manimal Strongman

Just for clarification purposes after a rather rude message was left near the team manimal 20kg plates (where a polite message asked for the plates to be returned to the weight stand after use) suggesting that team members need to PAY SUBS like everyone else.....

Team members that use the gym are also members of the gym so DO pay subs which will become more evident when the gym moves into the new building as the only access for everyone will be through the turn style

But on top of that team subs for the sports hall go into the gym turnstile fund meaning the gym benefits from team members that never even use the gym add to that the fact that the 280kg in new 20kg plates now belong to the gym having being donated by Martin and the team as well as the sit up machine and a flat bench and incline bench that is being donated when the move into the new gym goes ahead

If anyone or the person that wrote the message have any further concerns regarding the matter then please take them to the manager Ben or to Martin himself instead of writing messages without being in possession of facts

And the fact that it was written in response to a message asking for weights to be put away shows the disrespect some members show for the facilities leaving weights loaded on machines and thrown around the floors instead of putting them onto the weight stands provided !!!!
