A number of excellent saves, especially in the first half when the game was really tight. Harry’s performance laid the foundations for the team to go on and secure the win. Fantastic effort! 👏

Some massive tackles, a brilliant work rate and plenty of aggression throughout. 💪🏻⚽️ Ru stayed disciplined, battled for everything and was incredibly unlucky not to get himself a goal right at the end!

What a performance from the U13s Blacks! A 7-0 win in the opening game of the season is exactly what you want! 🔥⚽️

The whole team were outstanding today, and every single player should be incredibly proud of the way they performed. 👏🏻👏🏻

The pace in attack was absolutely electric, while the defence, goalkeeper and holding midfielder were rock solid, providing the perfect platform for the press and those quick attacks.

And the best part? That was pretty much exactly what we’ve been working on all pre-season — and today it all came together beautifully! 🙌🏻

Parents man of the match

Ben Hewison starting the season with a hat trick just what you need from your leading man, not only was it his work infront of goal but it he played a key part in linking the play and his constant running chasing and pressing helped the team no end

Opposition man of match

Jerry Jones with his usual all action non stop effort performance, a constant threat down the right hand side grabbing himself an assist and on another day could have had a couple of goals. Another fantastic start to the season

Coaches man of match

Riley Bennett captain fantastic for the day marshaling the back line oozing confidence and class throughout the game. His understanding of the game is outstanding to watch from the side lines and sets the tone for how the team play

Wow, what a tough first game today for the U12 Greens! 💚

But what I loved most was that this team never gave up. They kept pushing right until the final whistle and came off that pitch knowing they had given their absolute best — and for me, that’s all I could ever ask for. 👏

They played with great spirit, determination and teamwork, giving everything from the first whistle right through to the last. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them! 💚🖤
