Losing such a special pal has left a space that can never be filled. Owen came into my life at a time when I needed strength the most, and he gave it me freely through his smile, his wisdom, maturity and the quiet courage he carried in everything he did.
I learned so much from Owen, more than he ever knew. His inspiration will stay with me always.

My heart is with his family. May they feel the love he gave so many of us here at the Academy, and may they find comfort in knowing how deeply he touched the lives around him. Sending them all my love and strength during this unimaginable time.
