With presentation night now been and gone so is our time as Rotherham Town Girls, its been a great first 3 years as a team providing memories well never forget and I want to thank Rotherham Town and all the other volunteers there for being so welcoming and everything they’ve done for us, Luke O’Toole it’s been a pleasure sharing a pitch with you we’ve had some good times and look forward to seeing you in pre season🙂Big thank you to Kurt Andrew Knowles who planted the initial seed that is now our team you see before you⚽️But it’s now time for our new chapter as Milmoor Juniors U14 Girls and where all really exited for this!

Really proud of the girls this season they showed a lot of resilience after a really rough first third of the season they knuckled down, showed great tenacity and team spirit leading to a strong last 2 thirds showing us exactly the football there capable off and on doing so making us that bit more exited for what next season holds! Time now to rebuild, train and strengthen up getting ready to take next season by storm!🌪️⚽️

Big thank you too all the parents and supporters too turning up on them cold morning as we all know it’s been a harsh winter but the girls haven’t had one game without a good number of people on the sidelines shouting and cheering them on!👏And of course Diamonds Tanning and Beauty Salon for being our fantastic sponsors for yet another season thank you so much for everything you’ve been the best sponsors we could ever ask for💙💎🧡

Not only our last game of the season yesterday but also our last game as Rotherham Town and whilst it wasn’t the result we wanted to leave on loosing 3-2 to a late opposition goal everyone left happy and exited for our new chapter next season intending to come back rebuilt, determined and stronger than ever⚽️💪Big well done to Eylah Hartshorn for scoring our 2 goals, one of which was a beautifully finished left footed shot right into the top corner and in doing so getting herself Supporters girl of the game🏆Also to Jessie-Lee Linney for assisting Eylah’s second goal with a lovely weighted pass in the opposition box which was again finished of with Eylahs left foot⚽️And of course a big well done to our managers girl of the game🏆Eniola Fatunsin, who showed great effort and tenacity in midfield committing heavily to everything that came near her and not giving the opposition a minuite🏆Opposition’s Girl of the game🏆Ava Medlock, who once again was none stop up and down the field in right back creating problems in attack and solving problems at the back🏆Great performance from the girls to cap the season off unlucky with the result but we move forward onto our next chapter❤️Onto the next game we go and for the last time UTT!💙⚽️🧡Finally a massive thank you to our amazing sponsor Diamonds Tanning and Beauty Salon💙💎🧡

Great game of end to end football today from the girls, was really unlucky to not leave with the win after the opposition got a late equaliser to make it 2-2, but regardless the girls played a great match in the heat with only 1 sub⚽️Well done to our goalscorers⚽️Eva Wilson who tucked away a pressured finish away from a dangerous knock over the top by Darya Ichim⚽️Ava Medlock who slotted away her penalty cool and composed as always⚽️Also a big well done to our girls of the game🏆Managers-Millie Moscardini who had a solid match CB with some great clearances almost getting herself an assist with one in particular, giving her all throughout the game🏆Supporters-Savanah Hartson who gave 100% throughout the match putting lots of pressure on the oppositions defenders and getting a few chances through great runs and positioning🏆Oppositions-Eylah Hartshorn who had a great match in LM making some fantastic plays down the left hand side and taking some great corners too unlucky not to get a goal or assist🏆All in all a great game from the girls once again and onto the next game we go! The girls had a tough match yesterday against top of the league which we knew wasn’t going to be easy but they went out and gave there all and it was a great game of football full of chances from both sides⚽️They where really unlucky in the goals that were conceded, there was nothing they could do about either, one was a corner caught by the wind into the net and the other being a very questionable in direct free kick from a “pass back”, but unfortunately these where the goals to define the match, that being said where really proud of the girls for the effort put into the game and the performance they gave and we move onto the the next game with the girls ready to continue doing what they do best, playing great football⚽️Big well done to our girls of the game🏆Supporters player-Sophie Pickering who played a great game in strike full of composure, dangerous passes and dangerous shots and was really unlucky to not get a goal or assist, it certainly wasn’t through lack of trying🏆Oppositions player-Tilly Oldham who as always was none stop in midfield giving 100% throughout both offensively and defensively, not giving the opposition a minute🏆Managers player-Jessie-Lee Linney who battled the entire match none stop making some fantastic runs and playing some dangerous football throughout eventually picking a injury up near the end due to her ferocious battles but took it like a champ as always🏆All in all once again really proud of the girls today and I look forward to our next game Saturday⚽️UTT💙⚽️🧡Finally a big thank you to our amazing sponsors Diamonds Tanning and Beauty Salon💙💎🧡

Fantastic team performance once again from the girls today as they continue to battle on pushing for top of the table beating one of the teams above them and all doing there bit to make it happen, it was a great match to watch, a real nail biter😬⚽️After scoring our first goal which was a really well worked goal where a fantastic pass from Sophie Pickering set Eva Wilson up who slotted it away into the bottom corner beautifully⚽️The girls then battled and battled to keep hold of this lead with fantastic defending and goalkeeping aswell as making chance after chance of there own, but despite this the match stayed 1-0 almost untill the very end, until a great counter from our girls in the last kicks of the game lead too Ava Medlock playing Jessie-Lee Linney clean through who blasted it into the back of the net to secure the win⚽️⚽️Great work throughout from all⚽️Big well done to our girls of the game🏆Managers-Mylah Penkerego who was unbeatable between the sticks today really earning her clean sheet with lots of crucial saves made while being absoloutly fearless in her box🏆Supporters-Tilly Oldham who didn’t stop in CM playing a really strong game defensively and offensively all way through the match giving 110%🏆Oppositions-Darya Ichim, we sent Darya out with one mission today as managers, to not let her player past and she did that and then some being absoloutly un passable in LB, not putting a foot wrong and being strong and ferocious through the entire match🏆Unreal from the girls today where really proud of each and everyone of them! I think midweek afternoon matches work for us😂The girls played there first one this yesterday, the first of 3 games they have to play this week and I hope we continue as we started because wow, the football the girls played yesterday was some of the best I’ve seen them play⚽️A match full of perfectly timed passes, unreal team football, knocking the ball around the park fantastic just creating chance after chance but a combination of clustered defending and great goalkeeping somewhat kept the girls at bay, but they just didn’t give up, they were relentless creating chance after chance and in the end there persistency filtered through 4 goals in a 4-1 victory!⚽️Couldn’t be prouder of the girls it was a great match, they played there football, kept there composure and gave it there all till the very end it was a battle and they came for war💪2 of the goals where own goals forced by pinpoint crosses by Ocean Jones and Eva Wilson⚽️The next came from Eva Wilson making a fantastic run and playing a perfect through ball to Eylah Hartshorn who with strong dribbling forced her way though the last 3 defenders and tucked it away past the keeper nicely⚽️The final goal came when Ocean Jones nimbly dribbled into the box eventually get over run and fouled by 3 defenders but the ball didn’t stop there and trickled out to our captain Tilly Oldham who put it away beautifully to finish of the match⚽️Big well done to our girls of the game🏆Supporters player Alexa Beech who played a solid game in CB throughout not letting anything get through and giving some great clearances leading to opportunities up field🏆Managers player Darya Ichim who was also solid in left back taking on all comers and making massive contributions to our attacking football and the chances made🏆Great game from all really proud and onto the next game we go! Another fantastic team performance from the girls today getting themselfs a staggering 6-1 win!⚽️Every girl did there bit and gave there all from start to finish today making chance after chance and getting a nice hand full of them put away, once again where all really proud of there performance⚽️⚽️Big well done to our girls of the game🏆Oppositions player Ava Medlock for her worldie of a goal to kick off the scoring and then her continued 110% effort both offensively and defensively in RB up and down to line throughout🏆Supporters player Ocean Jones who had a fantastic match in CAM using nimble footwork and ferocity in the middle of the pitch to produce some great chances and getting a goal of her own in the process🏆Managers player our captain Tilly Oldham who was solid in CM today both offensively and defensively not giving the opposition a minuite throughout the game working up and down the field constantly always seeming to be part of every play at some point🏆And also a big well done to our other goal scorers and assisters⚽️Eylah Hartshorn with 2 goals and 2 assists⚽️Eva Wilson and Darya Ichim with a goal each⚽️Unreal from the girls today where all very proud of each and every one off them, big week next week with 3 match’s and I look forward to each and everyone one of them! The girls went out today against the recently moved top of the league and gave them a great match!⚽️They where the stronger team through out dominating the game and found ourselves 2-0 up but a late goal put the pressure on leading to a corner, the very last kick of the match which after a scramble unfortunately found the back of the net finishing the game 2-2 on the last kick⚽️Really unlucky not to get the win today but can’t fault the girls they played a fantastic game of football and gave 110% throughout where really proud of each and every one of them⚽️Supporters girl of the game was given to everyone for there great team performance🏆Managers girl of the game was Alexa beech who played with grit and determination the whole match having some ferocious battles, never giving up and digging deep everytime she was needed🏆Oppositon Girl of the game was Eylah Hartshorn who played a great game in LM making fantastic runs creating chances and working back great defensively in the process🏆Well done to our goal scorers Ava Medlock who finished a unreal long range effort after a great run with the ball taking a few players on⚽️And Eva Wilson who made a great run and provided a cool composed finish from a well played assist by Sophie Pickering taking on a defender and picking the perfect pass straight after⚽️Great team performance from all the girls today overall and onto the next game we go! Unreal football from the girls today back to playing the football we know and love⚽️💙Every girl did there bit and played fantastic team football throughout getting themselves a 7-1 victory!⚽️⚽️Big well done to our girls off the game today🏆Oppositions player Eylah Harthshorn! Who had a great match in LM giving 100% throughout causing problem after problem for the opposition with explosive dribbling and runs getting herself 4 assists and a goal of her own too!🏆Managers player Sophie Pickering who was fantastic in strike today making all the right runs and when holding play picking the perfect passes wide creating lots of crossing and goal opportunities getting herself a goal and a assist to match🏆Supporters player Jessie Lee Linney who played her socks off today in CM back and fourth defending and attacking ferociously not giving the opposition a minuite and breaking through time and time again with nimble footwork getting herself a goal in the process and contributing heavily In the build up for others too🏆Finally a big well done to our other goal scorers and assisters!
