Amazing news!! Well done girls 💪

What an amazing final, beating Dinnington/tigers in the final of the u16 Yorkshire shield. Dug in and pipped them in the final play of the game. Everyone played with heart and soul. What a way to end the season. A huge thank you to Wath RUFC - junior and minis , who we have played with all season, they have been fantastic! Up the Wath'Rum

We are incredibly proud of Callum and Euan for earning their place on Yorkshire U15s Player Development Academy! 🤩
Their selection is a testament to their determination, resilience and hard work both on and off the pitch.

It has been an absolute pleasure to see their progress over the years, and we look forward to seeing them continue to develop as they take their next steps in their rugby journey.

Well done to both of you, from everyone in your rugby family! 💪

Yesterday, our U15s played Keighley RUFC in the Yorkshire Cup Shield Final. They demonstrated great sportsmanship in lending the opposition players, and fought hard for the win. Congratulations lads! All your hard work this season resulted in a well-earned victory.

Rotherham Phoenix RUFC Hoedown!

Last Friday, Rotherham Phoenix RUFC held their hoedown fundraiser which was a huge success! Players, their families, volunteers and club members traded in scrums and mauls to show off their best line dancing skills under the superb instruction of Emma and Eleanor from Emerald Dance Academy.

Not only was it a night of laughter and enjoyment, but the evening also helped to raise over £1000 for the club! Thank you to everyone who attended the hoedown and purchased raffle tickets or donated prizes, and a massive thank you to Mark, Helen, Vickie and James for all your hard work in organising the event.
A huge thank you to Emerald Dance Academy for teaching us some new dance moves, and to the staff at Greaseborough Working Men's Club for providing us with a great venue!
We are all looking forward to the next club event and coming together as a rugby family again!

Yet more fantastic news!!! Well done girls, you have all done us proud 👏 😃

A great day of rugby on Sunday as the Yorkshire U16 PDG including 3 players from Rotherham Phoenix, took on Durham.

​The Lions 🦁 and Tigers 🐯 teams played excellent, flowing rugby. They were strong in attack, and showed brilliant teamwork in defense.

​It was their first time playing together for Yorkshire this season, and they worked incredibly hard for one another. Mia, Darcy, and Maisie thoroughly enjoyed being a Yorkshire Lion/Tiger and can't wait to represent the club more.

​A big thank you to the coaches for supporting the girls and making it a successful day. We hope their performances inspire other girls back at Rotherham to give rugby a try.
