DADBOD TO LEANBOD

Here’s a client that came to me with a goal to get lean and see his abs. From the initial consultation, he told me he had a really high metabolism as a kid and would eat and just never add fat but with time, it slowed down and like most people that experience this, started seeing unwanted weight on the hips over the last few years.

I put together a plan which included both workout and nutrition and fast forward a few months, here is looking shredded with abs and escaping the dadbod!

Few more weeks of the shred and we start the lean bulk 💪

LIFESTYLE TRANSFORMATION

This is a transformation I’m proud of! Not only has Kez managed to get into the shape of his life and dropped a 💩 load of weight but he has made the gym a part of his lifestyle.

For most, the first step is always the hardest, especially if you’re someone who feels the end goal is a long way away - it just becomes easier to choose the easy route and accept failure. That’s something my client did before coming to me and there were times at the beginning where we had to have these conversations but my client stuck to the plan and trusted the process and here is, a changed man.

I’m proud of how far he has come, especially with him being a family man with busy work schedule. Well done 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

CRASH KCAL DIET VS SUSTAINABLE DIET

Here’s a client that prior coming to me, lost a massive 30kg which was achieved by following crash kcal diet which if you know me very well, it’s not something I promote to my clients.

The crash kcal diet so him lose weight quickly but as you can see from his posture and body, saw an increase in excess skin and lack of muscle mass. After our consultation, I had him following a more sustainable diet, one where he was eating between 1800-2300kcal and as you can see, filled out, got stronger whilst still weighing the same.

The only time I’ve ever followed a crash kcal diet is the week of a fight when I had to make weight, a side from that you want to be at your best where you feel fit and healthy. I have always said, if you have a PT that is pushing you to do a crash kcal diet, you need to look elsewhere (unless it is for competition).

This client of mine is what you call a ‘big foodie’

Every time I’d log on to social media, I could put my money down that he’d be posting meals that would have you 🤤 so I knew this was going to be a good challenge when he asked me to help him strip fat and add get leaner before starting a lean bulk for the summer.

We made some tweaks to his diet, one that I made sure was sustainable, and a workout program along with his weekly check in with me at the HQ.

Here you can see his body looking a lot tighter, more vascular, smaller waist and a solid V shape back forming.

*18 week update*

Here is another client with very little gym experience prior to training with me seen making positive changes in his life.

His goal was to drop weight and here you can see he has dropped 20KG in 18 weeks… more than 1KG a week!

This was achieved by completing one session a week with me and 3 on his own before later adding a fourth session for him to complete along with a nutrition pack to follow.

In his own words ‘this is the best I’ve ever felt, even when I’m training with my friends and family, I am pushing the pace’ - and that I believe. Each week he sees me, he gives 100% and it is starting to pay dividends as evident in the pictures.

We are currently focusing on tightening the body now with more focus on weight and I’m looking forward to share the final results.

My client Luke came to me wanting to get healthier. Being a family man and working a busy office role, he managed to add on some extra weight and felt a change was needed. When he first came to me he was 95kg and since working with him, he has lost 15kg!

We sat down and put together a plan that would fit his lifestyle and most importantly, offer long term sustainability. We also set a few performance goals and one of them goals included running 5km and I was confident he could run 5km in 25 minutes to which he initially laughed at as he saw it as a pretty ambitious goal for anyone! But Luke kept to the program and this week he clocked out 5km in under 25 minutes- an incredible achievement and one to be proud of.

He's been prepping for the 10km Sheffield Run and already completed a few trial runs in under 55 minutes!
This is an amazing testament of Luke's dedication and perseverance.
