A date for you diary if you have kids that ride bikes.
Saturday 29th August. Between 11am and 4pm, we will be running our first ever KIDS BIKE JAM !
This will be part of the wonderful Rotherham UPLIFT festival.
It will be a free event, (you still need to pay for parking) and will include 3x different skills areas, with free coaching and skills tips. There will be all kinds of ramps and specialist skills equipment out for them to try. We will also be running timed training runs on the most popular mountain bike trail "Diggers downhill" in the afternoon.
The kids will get a proper printed receipt with their times on, just as in a proper race!
There's no need to register. Just turn up and join in.
The skills areas will be...
Young kids/beginners
Older kids/ intermediate
Advanced kids/ jumps and drops.
Free bike hire will be available if needed, but booking beforehand will be required. Drop us a message if you need it.
Activities will all take place around the cycle centre.
We are extremely excited about this event and have had lots of help from our friends at Rother Valley Riders mountain bike club and Sitwell cycling club.
