Another brilliant Saturday morning at Xplore Together 🧡

Football, boxing, giant bowling, obstacle courses, LEGO, colouring and plenty of choice throughout the session.

We’re delighted to welcome KD to our staff team! She’ll be helping me run our Saturday sessions and is already amazing with the children. She’s also a superstar footballer! ⚽️👏

We’ve already had quite a few bookings coming in for our October Half Term camp at The Willows 🍂⚽️

Our October dates at The Willows are available to book on the website, with plenty of sports, games, challenges and activities throughout the day.

We’re also waiting to hear back on a couple of potential venues, so we’re hoping to add even more options for families this October.

Our Saturday morning SEN sessions are also running at Gordon Bennett Memorial Hall- relaxed, supportive sessions with sports, games and sensory activities.

A little look around our Xplore Together SEND session from the weekend 💙

We keep some activities the same each week to give children that bit of familiarity and consistency, while changing others to keep the sessions fresh and interesting.

The aim is to create a relaxed space where children can explore different activities, move at their own pace and join in with as much or as little as they feel comfortable with.

It’s also a lovely chance for children with SEN to build confidence and connect with others, while parents and carers can also connect and have a chat in a welcoming, understanding environment.

There’s no pressure to take part in everything, and parents/carers are very welcome to stay too.

Rotherham… where should Xplore Sport go next? 🧡

We’d love to bring our holiday camps to more areas across Rotherham, giving more children and families access to fun, active and inclusive holiday provision closer to home.

We offer both mainstream multi-sport camps and our smaller, dedicated SEN camps, with experienced teachers and coaches who understand that every child is different.

So we need your help!

A relaxed, SEN-friendly session for school-aged children to enjoy sport, movement, games and social time in a safe and supportive environment.

It’s not about being the best at sport. It’s about having a go, joining in at their own pace, meeting others and building confidence.

💛 A welcoming and supportive environment

Parents and carers can stay, relax and chat with others during the session. There’s no expectation to join in with the activities unless you would like to.
