Running alone is great, sometimes it’s nice to just get some “me time”, clear your head. I’ve made many life decisions out on the trails, but one thing I have found is that you’re less likely to push yourself alone, or step things up a gear and that’s why running with other like minded people can be so good for you.
Not only is it great to have friends to chat to, help the miles goes by without even noticing, a nice bit of friendly competition can work wonders to your miles per minute. Hill training / intervals are pretty hard alone but with your running buddies going through it with you it can certainly ease the pain! 🥵
